My A+ experience buying from ELady!

Awesome! What did elady rate it as? Sometimes, it looks like she gives B's to things that look really new!

I don't think it had a rating. It appeared on the first or second page under "sale". I just went off the pictures. One of them showed a little scratch on the canvas at the corner but I can't even find it on the actual bag. Only visible sign of wear are the hairline scratches on the plate. Do you know if it's possible to pull up the listing again once the item is purchased?

Hello Ladies!!

I just place my first order from eLady last night, I received the order confirmation and the payment receipt but no shipping info yet.. Usually how long you have to wait for the shipping notification?

Thanks in advance !!

I received a shipping notification hours after placing order. it probably depends on which warehouse it's in though. I had a great experience with elady and no customs fees! And it seems from others that they had a positive experience as well so should be shipping ASAP. Good Luck with your purchase!!

I think they always have some rating. It is in the item description also. On the right side. You can see the item listing still after purchase when you go to your order details and click on the item name. Can you check?

Bad news. So on more careful inspection, the bag that I thought was near perfect has a faint cigarette smell on the inside. I was so excited upon receiving it, I didn't notice but it's definitely there. This was not mentioned in the listing. I'm so sad now! What should I do? How do I get rid of this yucky smell? Or do I not bother and ask for a refund? 😭

That is so disappointing, I'm sorry! I had read earlier in this forum that they sometimes do have a smoke smell coming from Japan and to check on the listing....but if it wasn't listed, then you have a valid reason for a return. If you love everything else about the bag, then I would let it air out. As a former smoker, I know that it will eventually dissipate. There are also products that can remove the smell...maybe google and see if there are any that would work for the interior fabric? Good Luck and keep us posted!

My first purchase from ELady! Had a brief scare that this may not be real, even though I had it authenticated on tPF pre-purchase, but made it to a boutique last night, and am getting the key cloche heat stamped (they had to send it away since they don't do it in-store at that location) so I'm resting assured that it is authentic. Less than a week from order to delivery and in wonderful condition. I am thrilled with this seller.

Edited to add: Wanted to clarify that this pic was taken prior to the boutique visit, thus the presence of the cloche.

You must be so bummed - sorry!
But do look into removing the smell before rushing to return - I thought I read on the forum recently that someone put a tennis ball in the bag - it removed the bad odor though they then had to do some additional airing out to remove that scent :smile1:
I think someone else may have said to stuff with newspaper ? Look on line, I am sure you can find some info - good luck and let us know!

Oh bummer about the smell. Now I am a bit nervous. Visually, the pictures looked so great. I have a very sensitive nose, so I will need to make sure mine has no smell!

Thanks, ladies. I'm trying not to freak out and rush to return. I read through most of the old threads regarding getting rid of smell from LV. Right now Eva is in a ziplock bag with some tissue paper sprayed with febreeze. I also threw in several dryer sheets. I will let it sit for a few days and see what happens. Will probably try newspaper and baking soda next. I'm crossing my fingers and toes! Don't want to return her. Did I mention she's MIF?!

Have you been able to get extra photos of a bag from elady? If not, would you purchase a bag without all the acquired pics to get in authenticated? I haven't bought anything from elady before so not sure how reliable it is about selling only authentic LVs.

I am so sorry to hear your near perfect bag has a faint smoke smell. I had heard of dryer sheets working by absorbing the smell so my fingers are crossed for you!
