Elady was fast, again. The items were in customs yesterday and I declared them. Waiting the package to arrive today or tomorrow! Can't wait..

I'm planning on making my first LV purchase, I really want a Neverfull, well I'd like two, I can't decide between the monogram and Azur?!
So should I choose one and buy from a store or buy two pre-owned and get both?

If you look at both of the bags you'll see that GM is flipped. I didn't even think to make sure they were on the same side. Lol. Good eye!
I would take it to LV for sure.. GM doesn't look right.. Inquire about the handle being backwards and they will let you know if it's authentic and they can fix it or non-authentic and they can't touch it..

Did you have it authenticated pre purchase? I'm not sure I'd even bother taking it in. I know a lot of things can be missed in LV quality control, but I just don't think a backwards handle is one of them. This isn't a case where you're not sure if something is right on a bag and can take it in under the pretense of heat stamping or something and see if it's a red flag for the SA. I'd probably pay caroldiva or someone to authenticate it first. But I don't really have a relationship with an SA who I'd feel comfortable taking it to, so maybe that's different for you.
So I contacted eLady to see what my options were. I was hoping they would offer me a discount since the bag was not as described and should not have been given a AB rating given the awful smell. I got this email response which I am kinda annoyed by.

In any case you are entitled to return the item for a full refund within 14 days from the delivery date.

Same thing happened to me. The bag I bought was not in the condition as described, there were a few flaws and a pungent odor that was not mentioned. When I emailed them, their response was pretty much exactly what you got. I got a shipping quote from the post office of about $90 to return it. I ended up keeping the bag but I was a little disappointed in the company.
Ugh!! Thanks for replying and sorry you went thru that. Which bag did you end up keeping? Did that smell go away? I've lost confidence in this seller!
I had gotten my delightful from a Japan seller. When I received the bag it had a strong musty smell but the bag itself looked brand new. So used the newspaper/dryer sheet route and the smell got better than I started using it and now there is no smell whats ever. So if the condition of the bag is acceptable to you the smell of smoke will go away over time.
This gives me hope as I will probably end up keeping the bag. How long did it take after you started using it for the smell to dissipate?
I think I left it sit for about a couple of weeks because the odor was really strong, then I started using it. I just received a leather mahina from Brandoff and they said there was an odor, I asked what kind and they said moldy, I went ahead and purchased anyways and the only smell was the smell of leather to me. I really think the smell of smoke will go away rather quickly especially once you start using it
The smell has not, but it was perfume and something else. I have not tried a ton of methods to get rid of the smell but perhaps I should try harder. It was a fascinante.
