I may try this, just am afraid to put something on my face that wasn't made for the face, ya know? Are you all sure its the same ingredience as Smashbox, you all read it? I have to go youtube this.

I am in my 30's.. will it dry out my skin and cause wrinkles?

crap just watched a video on youtube with a girl who said she broke out with black heads badly after using this.. omg.. did this happen to you?

^^ did you watch Lurve's beauty video? I saw that video too. I would have to say that everyone has different skin, so it's sort of hard to tell who will break out when using a specific product. You just sort of have to try and see. (Unless you're allergic to a specific ingredient, then I'd definitely recommend you not use it.)

The gel is pretty cool. It squeezes out of the tube as a clear gel. As soon as you apply it to your face or skin, it turns into a powdery finish. :p Eh, I hope I'm describing this right. Maybe another tPfer can chime in.

I'm almost 30 and I have been using this for about a month maybe a little more. I have not broke out and I find it is a way better primer than the BE was using. I wouldn't worry about wrinkles. If you don't like it's only a few bucks compared to 30+ for the other brands.

shoegal-- SOME people have broken out because of this. You just have to try it out. If you never try, you might be missing out on the best product of your life if you have oily skin and problems with shine like I did. ;)

Powder gel means when you squeeze it out it's gel. When you rub onto your face it immediately turns into a silky powdery finish. It makes your skin so soft, omg I can't even describe it. It's not meant for the face but it's also not meant for your...erm, vagina. It's not gross. although the monistat part may seem gross.

YES I am sure that this is safe to use and the ingredients are the same as Smashbox. The active ingredient in both is the same: dimethicone. You can google it or whatever to check.

If it makes you break out, I'm sorry :(

umm this wouldn't cause wrinkles and try your skin out. dimethicone is supposed to lock in moisture.

Also some people break out from silicone primers because they pretty much are pore fillers. I *think* there is a water based primer, but I have no idea what product that is. If you want to try it, maybe you could use extra caution in exfoliating, washing, using masks, etc. on the first week. that way *if* it makes you break out you are prepared. I hope it doesn't though!!!

thanks for the coupon! i've been reading this thread but haven't gone out and tried it since i have a lot of smashbox left. i got it from target for $5.99 (wasn't on sale i don't think)...so under $5 with tax after the coupon. i'm not sure whether i should wait for my smashbox to run out before i give this a shot...

well ladies, you all have convinced me. Tonite, I went to Wally World and bought a tube (for $5.89 btw). I have only skin, shine, the whole nine. Make-up seems to slide right off my face so I'm excited to see what this can do.

Tomorrow will be the big day!
