I wanted to report my results after using for 3 weeks:

-Hairline breakouts are gone
-No more oil
-Smaller pores
-No makeup in creases in my "fine lines":woohoo:

HG Product for sure!

I've also noticed this works better then MAC Eye primer/paint when used on your eyes-my eyeshadow stays blended all day, no creases, no need to touch up

I also noticed better results switching my foundation to a tinted moisturizer which I apply over the product (due to clogged pores-not breakouts).

that's great!!! I'm really happy too, this is a HG product for me. it's MORE than a primer. no more oily ness ALL DAY. that is something that never happens to me..I'm 14, yeahhh I tend to get oily pretty quick! This doesn't even make me break outs. thank goodness. I was thinking about using it as an eye primer too!! I have UDPP and paints right now too, but will try this too. I love how it feels.

I'm so glad I found this post just now! I'm going to CVS this afternoon and I'll definitely pick this up. I'm currently using Smashbox, but it's soooo expensive.

Lucky You! To be young again......:p
I'm 26 and I have 1 small line on my forehead that just gets powder embedded in it it seems.

I've been using my Mac quad since I started this, and usally I have to reapply twice a day and my eyeshadow looks like I just applied it after 10 hours!

It seems to me the Mac eye primers and bases are too cakey & heavy..

Keep us posted on your results too:smile1:

I've been updating a lot in this thread lol.
Basically I go out all day with NO shine on my face. amazing. Normally i need to blot after a few hours. and that doesn't remove shine 100%.

MAC paints are the best bases out of all their products. a little bit goes a long way for me and it doesn't crease. works differently on you than me!

I agree, Monistat = HG! I bought it yesterday, and used it under my foundation this morning (also new, its Neutrogena the tint one, I cant remember the real name).

I went to work, which sometimes, just being there brings out the worst in my skin because people get under my skin...

I came home crashed into nap land...got up, cleaned the kitchen and did some other fun things, I even used the MP (Magic Shaving Powder)

And I'm happy to say I'm now watching Sex and the City with a shine free flawless face! yay!:happydance::happydance:

QUESTION: Has anyone used this as an eyeshadow primer? Is it any good for that?

Someone might have answered my question already, but I dont want to read through this thread lol.

My face looks smoother after I apply it. I think I've been too skimpy when using it. I'll have to try the pea-size. It is so expensive for just a little tube! I bet I'll be cutting it open to get the very last bits. For a post-shower anti-chafing product, you'd think it would come in a giant pump size!

...It is so expensive for just a little tube!...
What are you buying?

We are talking about chafing gel that you get at the drugstore, the most expensive is the actual Monistat brand, which costs about $10, but generic, store brand clones, etc can be had for half that or less, the only thing you need to look for is that the only active ingredient is dimethicone.

That is a silicone gel that is in expensive makeup primer products, but they frequently contain other stuff, too, so may not work as well as chafing gel.

Edit to note that we are also talking about putting it on our faces only, could you possibly be putting it all over? In that case it would be expensive, you might consider switching to a body lotion like Vaseline Advanced or store clone, that contains silicone gel, but also has other stuff, and is intended for use as a body lotion.

The chafing gel is really intended for people whose skin rubs together, like inner thighs, so even though we are using it for a different purpose, both the intended use, and the Wonderful Discovered Use involve very small areas of skin!
