Oh yes, it looks amazing on you! I have skinny legs and when the coat flares out it makes my legs look even thinner. I tried the Flammette and it just didn't suit me. Do you find the coat to be delicate? I read some reviews that said the material was more delicate than some of the other Moncler styles and rips and snags easily. Also, what is the sizing like? I'm unsure whether to go for a 0 or 00. Thanks!

Thank you. I don't find it delicate at all. I wash it in the washing machine with my other clothes in normal cycle. No issues so far and I bought this a few years ago. I only have one other Moncler jacket, Alouette, but this is quite new so can't judge durability but feels the same to me as the Hermine. I bought size 0 so I can wear thick jumpers underneath. But best to try on if you can since proportions differ for each individual. HTH.

That's good to hear it's not too delicate. I have a three year old son and I was worried about it snagging easily when I go out to parks with him etc. It's so expensive compared to the other Moncler styles. Unfortunately there is not a Moncler boutique near to me that is still stocking the winter styles so I am unable to try it on. I would have to buy from the Moncler website. I did want to wear thicker jumpers sometimes but then I think the bottom might be too big if I size up. I think I might chance it with the 00. Do you mind me asking your height/weight so I can compare? I am 5'3.5" and approx 98-100lbs (not weighed myself recently!)

I think size 00 is fine for you since I am a few inches taller and many pounds heavier
There's also a one year guarantee on the jackets.

@honeybunch The Flammette flares out alot more than the Hermine - the Hermine is more fitted and a little dressier. The hood is also detachable as well. There's darting through the waist, if you can see the pics. :)

Thank you! I didn’t end up buying one. I’m going to wait for the coming winter now.

Just don’t wait too long. These jackets sell out sometimes in September. Two years ago I wanted the hermine and it sold out. Last year I bought two with a fur hood in September. I kept one it was shiny and returned the other called hermifur. I regretted it and tried to buy it again and it was sold out at saks. I then tried the moncler store but they only had the version with the red orangey raccoon dog fur. Not a fan. So I had to wait until Neiman Marcus restocked in February for a hermifur that had fox!

Yes I will probably start looking in August.

There was one called albizia which was shiny and came with Fox - sold out very quickly. I got the aphrotiti which runs super large and is more casual and love it. Let me know when you start looking again, I used to work for Moncler and can help you with sizing :)

^^^agree with selling out? Who would think that a puffer 2000 and up (fur trimmed) would be gone, bing bang bong but they do!. I nabbed the last one in my size 18 months ago and bellied up the $$. I just love love love my MONCLER!!!

Well I still haven’t got round to buying one and they are selling out fast! I found another style called Betulong. Has anyone tried this style? It’s between this one and Hermine, whichever is slimmer at the bottom. Hope someone can help!
