Modern Chain E/W tote - new leather VS old.

I've actually never tried the old MC tote on, but was this close to buying the new one in Vegas yesterday! It's so beautiful, and lightweight given the chains/its size. The leather doesn't have a weird sheen to it or anything, it's extremely subtle and so nice! IMO, it's the perfect Chanel tote that borders on edgy, which I've been dying to find... I liked it so much that I want it in black and dark brown haha!

I am not in love with the glazed leather bags this season. I prefer the weathered look. I do love mine from last season.

I've only seen the black and have too many black bags.

I prefer the distressed leather of last season. It has this down and dirty vintage, biker vibe to me, whereas the glazed leather feels more like vinyl, plastic-y. Maybe it was just the one I tried on.
