My vote is for black (which is what I have, hehe). I had the taupe originally but traded it in. I didn't find the color particularly versitile like most people did.

There was a authentic Taupe stam + MJ wallet on ebay last night from telstar (authentic seller). Item finished today by BIN now.. i think around 9xx Pounds?!

at first i would say the black, but the kiss lock and the chain may stand out too much. the putty seems like a nicer choice. it will blend nicer with the hardware and go with everything. good luck. post pics.

BTW, the putty is the not the pinkish ivorycolor, that is the blush. The putty is more like a greyish color.
