If you look closely at this picture is appears they are functioning pushlocks. That would be such a pain!!

Don't worry, they aren't pushlocks... it even says from that saks link "[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Magnetic closure on flap". T[/FONT]he line that you see on the gold 'coins' is probably just a reflection of the chain.
