The 2.55 mini, is the chain sort of heavier than the bag? You know what I mean when the leather weight and the chain weight is not balanced so to speak. Thinking of getting a 2.55 mini but this would deter me. Thanks!

Just for sharing: Chanel handbags are really hard to get. I have experience buying my 1st one when I was in Europe. I couldn’t get what I want in my wishlist so sad really and ended up I brought it at my homeland with a lovey Chanel SA and I am so blessed that we met and she ‘reserved’ for me ❤️ Now after pandemic, the hike pricing, demand over supply, change of chanel buying ‘policy’ and most importantly there is no caviar for mini rectangular. Hence, after much consideration I decided to get it from reseller with premium price.
Few months looking high and low for caviar leather, i saw this bag posted online and immediately brought it (pricing is within my budget). The next day I go collect the bag from the reseller shop. To be very frank, the whole buying experience is phenomena. I am so in love with this and my most loved Chanel baby
I had it authenticated twice with cert for my peace of mind. One from authentication company thru the reseller and the other one from individual authenticator ❤️❤️

Mini rec comes every season just different shades each season. Maybe what the store means is that they do not have shipments? I also rarely see minis in stores since last year.
From what I was told by my SA, the black is usually available when the minis are available for that particular season. However, not all boutiques gets the minis. The boutique orders the bags and corporate Chanel decides how they will distribute the bags based on demand and etc.
For example, I was told that a Canadian customer has not seen a mini square flap for 3 years at her local boutique since their weren't able to get any at all.
Hello, I wondered if anyone has a mini square from 2021? I bought mine from a reputable reseller and have had it authenticated twice by them, but I’m worried the stitch count is lower than what I’ve seen on other models?
