Sorry for the basic question, but how often are the mini squares released in black caviar? Are they a staple or seasonal and released at the same time as the collections?

I believe that minis (square or rectangular) are no longer released in caviar leather anymore. So to answer your question, they were discontinued seasonal bags. The lambskin minis we currently have are considered seasonal as well.
Apologies if this has been covered somewhere - I really did search the forum for an answer before posting. I would like a rectangular mini in black with silver hardware. I am wondering if these are expected in the next season or so. Recently I saw a square with silver at Chanel, and rectangular with gold in a dept store. I passed on both because, its an expensive bag and I think it's always best to hold out for your preferred specs. The SAs at Saks, BG, and Chanel all say that one in this combo will materialize but have no idea when. What do you guys think? The SA at Chanel says its best to leave a cc number. Should I do that?
They can put you on a waitlist but they might not know when they’ll get the shipment. CC number is one of the requirements some boutiques would take when you are on a waitlist or when you reserve an item. I suggest trying Neiman Marcus too.
I had a terrible experience at the Chanel boutique in Chicago. I went as soon as they opened because a friend was able to get on the reserved list for a black rectangular mini the day before. My SA basically told me that was impossible and refused to help me. Any tips on how I can reserve one? I’d be happy to pay upfront. Thank you!
I suggest visiting leased boutiques in Neiman Marcus or Saks if possible. I was on the waitlist for about 4 months which I don’t think was that bad considering some boutiques might take a year or longer.
My name is BagLadyT and I’d like to admit that I participated in the panic buying of 2021, one day before the price increase. I’ll take it one step further and admit I paid a price that is above the new price planned for tomorrow. On a more shallow note, it’s so pretty!
Hi sorry I didn’t see your post until now. I’m new here and not sure how to turn on notifications. Yes my mini rectangular flap in black from 21k came a few weeks ago! I really like it. The leather feels softer than the burgundy 21k but not as buttery as my 21b dark pink. In terms of quilt puffiness the puffiest is the burgundy, then the black and the 21b dark pink is the squishiest/least puffy. I found that both 21k burgundy and 21k black were a bit more crooked coming out of the box compared to the 21b pink. I “adjusted” and call me crazy but I think I was able to “fix” the flap so it’s pretty even now. Here is a pic of the black. Hope that helps!

It’s beautiful and looks like mine! I have a mini in black from 20C with SHW that has flatter quilts and a straight flap vs my 21K with LGHW that has a curved flap. Would love to see pics of your your burgundy and dark pink mini if you’re willing to share!
Agree. I'm from Chicago and I prefer the Chanel boutique in Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue over the boutique on Oak St. (or wherever they are now). I don't have a name at the boutique in NM but every time i went in there they were helpful and nice.

I was lucky to score this beauty today. While I was browsing at store, some lady came to return this bag because it was a gift and receiver didn’t like the color. So I just took it right away. Also it is my first Chanel bag. I want to buy a black small classic flap or black mini, but since the waiting time for any classic bags in black color is so long currently I decided to get this one for start
