Realized I forgot to post the newest addition to my mini family here. Not a fan of beige Clair since it’s too light and yellow. Luckily I found my perfect beige bag, the 18S. It’s a medium beige with pink undertone. Also it has a subtle pearly sheen which unfortunately the camera can’t pick up. Will update with a new mini family pic soon :amuse:

It is not normal. Take it back to the store and hear what they say. If possible, exchange for a better one if it’s still within exchange window. I have similar issue with my reissue but it is inside the inner compartment so it took me a couple of months until I realized it as it’s a rare place for people normally use. In short, the asked for more money if I want to get the leather straightened although my bag was still under 1 year and it was due to production defect but they called it a normal quality. Yeah rite..

Haha I’m glad it wasn’t just me who thought the gold was silver. I thought they put the wrong tag or something which would be crazy to even think about! :shocked:

I have pretty much the same crease line in the inner compartment, one side a lot worse than the other. I didn’t really think about the crease on the inside as being a defect but then again, this is my first mini so I don’t really know what’s considered a defect..is this really a defect? now I’m really debating whether or not to take it back to the SA.

I do think it’s still hard in a London as I was the first in Harrods and other SA’s wanted to know if I wanted it or not. I did see the square mini as well but the chain length didn’t work for me. That was the only reason I went with the rectangular as I don’t think they are very different apart from that IMO.
If the square works for you then I think you made the right decision plus you were about to save a little money getting the square over the rectangular! Xx

You're right about that, the chain length is much longer for the rectangle and the bag sits too low for my liking when worn crossbody. The mini reissue is the perfect length for me crossbody and double strap and I'm looking to add that when I see the perfect combo!!
Separately, any idea if the puffiness will flatten over time like some quilts do? This is my first chevron lambskin :)

Hi! I spent some time searching for photos of mini linings on resale sites and blogs. I found new and used minis with creases similar to ours. They mostly seemed to be on one side of the bag. Mine is on the left. I think it's a combination of the loose lining and the softer sides of lambskin minis. I'm going to try a bag organizer with mine and see if it helps with the structure.

I had my very first boutique experience today (London New Bond St) and it was better than I could have even hoped! I had a great SA and so pleased I now have her details.

I went in looking for a mini flap, but not knowing if the square size would be able to fit my phone properly. I was also aware that the minis have been high in demand and so I wasn’t expecting them to actually have stock. But they had some come in last night, so I got to see the square in both quilt and chevron, and this chevron rectangle. Love at first sight and it fits my ridiculous phone!!

I know the chevron isn’t for everyone, but I also plan on getting a vintage black m/l or jumbo with gold hardware, so I feel like this way all my needs will be covered :biggrin:

Then of course I had to get a mini purse to fit in my mini bag haha.

Congratulations on your new bag . We are London bag twins ( got mine last weekend in Harrods).
