it really depends what look you’re looking for! What hardware did you want with the caviar? I feel like this is a pretty edgy piece so if it fits with your style, go for it
I'm looking to buy a new (small) wallet - I haven't had a proper one in the past 3 years 
(have been using the Chanel zipped coin purse). Do any of you own this and know whether it will fit into my mini rectangular? I don't carry that much, just the zipped coin purse, car key fob + 1 key, hand sanitizer (a must these days!), small tube of lotion and lip balm.

I was in Madrid last week and bought a black chevron mini with LGHW. There were at least 4 of them because I was trying to pick the best one. A week before I was in Rome and they had quite a few black quilted mini's in stock as well.Really?! Could you tell me where? I haven’t found any yet..
Caviar has been “discontinued” for a while now on all mini bags except the Incognito. Your best bet for a mini would be a lambskin mini (usually smooth). You could try asking your local boutique if they have one and if not, 20B will most likely come out with more minis. 20B release is likely September.
lMy new mini black gold 30 series can’t say anything bad, touch wood after turning down few with uneven sides got the one I’m happy with

Is the classic mini still made with light gold hardware?
I've been debating between getting the mini vs the Small flap. I'm 5'1 and have a petite frame so the M/L would look a bit too big on my body.
The small flap looks really nice but I'm not sure if it's is worth the price difference.

I don't know about the hardware, but I would recommend considering a few factors when choosing between mini or small.
Cons for the small:
- the double flap adds weight and to me is unnecessary hassle to open
- I've read that the small actually holds less than the mini because of the double flap
- small costs a lot more than the mini
Cons for the classic mini:
- only 2 strap grommets, so to shorten the strap you have to cross it under the flap
- might not have the classic burgundy color interior
I actually decided in a reissue mini because it's cheaper than a classic small, holds more than classic small, I prefer a single flap, and reissue mini has 4 strap grommets. I also don't like logos so prefer the mademoiselle style lock rather than the CC lock. And current classic minis come in lambskin, whereas reissue minis come in calfskin which is slightly more worryfree.
So, lots to consider when you're choosing which bag will work best for you. Good luck with whatever you decide on!!
