Can anyone tell me if it is normal for one side of the mini to look different from the other side? Like one side will go in more towards the top but the other side’s shape is straight without the inward crease? Kind of hard to explain.

Oh I see what you mean. I think it’s fairly normal, it’s hard to tell how much it sticks up in the photos. From different angles sometimes mine will look much worse like the ends point up, but head on they usually look ok. Here’s my caviar mini you can see both ends sort of go up a little bit from the angle I took the photo at. If it bothers you, you could check with the SA and see if they have another one you could exchange it for?

Oh yes, I’m sorry! I thought you meant the top portion. I think I understand now. Does the one side stick out more than the other side too? Is that what you mean?
Yes, one side has a straight even side but sticks out if you look at it head on but the other side goes inward towards the top of the bag.
I find that this is pretty normal, especially if you where it crossbody. When you first buy it, both sides usually goes in. but as you put things into the bag i found that it over times pushed the sides out more. If you wear it crossbody, one side tends to get most of the pressure (all you items are sliding down to that side) and that side tends to go out more. hahaha hope my explanation makes sense
I’ve seen this often so it’s quite normal? But it would drive me crazy. I’m a bit OCD though. It really depends on one tolerance. I rejected a bunch of minis with bulging side in a store, refusing to believe that all will eventually bulge as we use it though it might be true. I also recall people suggest ‘reshaping’ it by filling the bag with clothes, put inside the box and fill the box with clothes and don’t forget to press in the sides. Leave it for weeks. Personally, I would choose the perfect one when purchase, mine are still in perfect shape after 2 years of normal usage. I have M/L flap with bulging sides (the last one in store and I hunted that particular color) but only near bottom part. It’s already driving me crazy, lol.
