Does she have a good relationship with her parents? It takes a certain kind of person to agree to emancipating their 16 year old and having them move out of the home without any life skills. It sounds like she had all the financial privileges but there's more to parenting than that and that's the biggest takeaway I get from her complaints.

I understand what you are saying though, it is annoying to see privileged people complaining. Especially given her situation she probably doesn't even realize just how privileged she was because she doesn't know anything else.

I'm a hater for people with rich upbringing and decide to be adults and on their own at a young age and complain about having it hard. If she can't be honest with this story-it's shady. That may not be the whole story but still... there are certain privileges that comes with well off up-bringing...
