I think what she is saying is they are now selling bags that are made specifically for the outlet, on the regular site and not labeling them as outlet bags. I don't know enough about MK to tell the difference by looking at them, but I believe he has 3 tiers of bags: Collection (high end), MICHAEL Michael Kors (the "affordable" department store bags sold in Macys, Belk, etc.), and bags that are made specifically for the outlet (I don't know what they're called.) The MK site only carried retail bags (both luxury and affordable), and obviously you can tell when it's a high end bag marked down vs the dept store bags. Now they're selling bags on there that are lower quality outlet bags.

You're not wrong. Before the title of the thread was changed the insinuation was that MK was intentionally trying to deceive their clients. Some folks shop MK specifically for the sale deals....if they are 'outlet' bags makes no difference. It's all on what you can or cannot afford. OR what you do or do not want in your closet. My issue w/ the thread is the 'whistleblower' attitude of the OP. I understand her intention; it just feels like a waste of time and discussion. Because, again, it's all about what MK's clients want in their closet at a price point they don't mind paying.
