I googled Dante's Cove and description of it sounds so bad that I'm surprised how it filmed in the first place. I didn't bother to open the link to read the rest. :p

plastic fantastic :lolots:

Look, Michael had a taste of plastic surgery and maybe decided to avoid it in future. :p Besides a lot of men think with their smaller head and start to regret the choice when they start to use bigger head.

I wish I had done the same! Could have spent that money on something else than glossy vanilla gay porn.

It makes sense that he's not a fan of fake boobies any more. Make no mistake I know a few women who've had tasteful boob jobs and I can't diss them for having plastic surgery. It's their body and their choice, but ROC looks better with her clothes on.

Not only Madonna is really bad when it comes to all aspects of film making, she is basically forging historcal facts when it comes to Wallis and Edward. It's well documented that they supported Nazi establishment in one way or another.

Madonna's face should be an advert for how NOT to look like after cosmetic surgery. Seriously, that woman is in serious denial about her age and it's really sad to watch women like her. She's like 50-something starter-wife, willing to do anything to keep her husband and it doesn't matter if she's making fool out of herself.

The chicken cutlet in her cheeks! They scare the willies out of me.

Awww didn't mean to slander Riseborough and Garai (they're very good actresses and keep out of the limelight -- I noticed at parts that Riseborough was quite serious about the craft she was talking about - and it is an impression that stuck with me for other interviews. Will very happily be wrong about that. Funnily enough, like Fassbender, I find her blonde locks not very advantaging her pale complexion. She's stunning with dark hair, especially in the green sequined Dolce and Gabbana.

Btw, the Viggo interview (Letterman) is available on YouTube but I can't seem to add it in my post. Nor successfully attach images.

I'm not surprised about the Riseborough rumors/anecdotes because you can sense her standoffishness just in regular interview. Romola Garai gave off similar vibes circa Atonement, but I don't know if it's toned down since, or if I'm simply mistaking being opinionated with haughtiness. But, alas, good acting is good acting and I tip my hat off to them, as I do with James Franco and Sean Penn.

A lot of people seem to think that Carey Mulligan has an air of haughtiness as well. I just think that she's very shy and awkward. Almost like a deer in the headlight. So endearing.

OT bur Ryan Gosling will not be going to the Golden Globes. His rep says something about him being out of the country for filming.

Damn!! I would love to see a picture of Fassbender, Gosling and Hardy together. It would be a drool worthy moment of epic proportions. I think our former PF-er Saywhatpepo would say: 'Bring on the moisture!'

It would be cute if Michael brought his parents to the GG. Or maybe take his mom as a date.

That would be fabulous if he did. Time will tell.

I was going to post it anyway (you beat me to it).

So here's Viggo Mortensen interview on Letterman :

I think he was messing with us with his little story about Fassbender :p
He's just an adorable prankster (like his son apparently) :smile1:

Thanks for posting!! It seems that shiny Miami Vice suits are all the rage again. I saw a picture of Gerard Butler in a shiny Louis Vuitton suit, now Fassy and Viggo are wearing them as well.

Carey Mulligan gives the loveliest and most detailed interviews (as long as they are not televised late-night shows because the poor darling seems paralysed into a case of the giggles) and she seems to wear her heart on her sleeve so I think her shyness is more immediately detectable --do some people really think she's snobby and dislike it? Aww. If anything, I think I just misjudge her look of misery in certain photographs (see: NBR) but I don't, or hope it doesn't appear like haughtiness.

I find similarities between her and Fassbender, in the sense that she might have a self-conscious fear of being undertalented bc she didn't get into acting school, whereas Fassbender will joke about not being intellectual, but you can sense self-consciousness about not attending uni. And the irony is that she's talented beyond 98% of her peers, and he's super intuitive and perceptive, and I swear his answers sometimes sound like class material that some social psychology professors were discussing in my undergraduate classes. Nothing to worry about, you two. You both turned out quite fine :laugh:.

I think Michael does tend to be self conscious (I can imagine having a older sis with a PhD doesn't help) but he is very intelligent and very eloquent when he talks about things he's passionate about (acting, music, motorcycles, etc.) There are plenty of idiots who go to college and don't have a lick of sense (trust me I know XP)

Malkin writes that he's donning Armani for the red carpet.

This lad's striking up an exclusive partnership with Armani, yeah? For better or for worse (because he seems like a loyal dude)= verrrry classic cut and impeccable tailoring, but nothing remarkable nor striking. Still, looking forward to the wave of handsome tonight from all the beautiful people in the industry, Fassbender at the forefront. Hope the willy stays relatively contained tonight, no going commando! (tons of people are probably thinking otherwise at this very thought).

Classy!

Totally with you on that one. The worse offenders are some people in law school (and of course, a good portion of that lot socialize their way to articling positions in the biggest firms - urgh). I've come to develop an allergy to pedantic douchetards who make no sense whatsoever! But yeah, back on topic, I do also think he's got acute intelligence and also inherited smart genes.

Nice one! Armani is nice and classic. I hope it's nicely tailored. The dark blue skinny jeans he wears all the time are also Armani. At the Tate he also wore these really cool black Adidas Vespa trainers. So I guess Armani and Adidas are sending the guy free stuff all the time. Good for him.

ITA! Actors can be so insecure. I remember a well-known Dutch actor who killed himself, because he was paralysed by his own insecurities and it made him deeply depressed. He started out in a big soap opera and never went to Drama school. Even though he had a massively succesful career as an actor in film, tv and on stage he could never shake the insecurities. Very tragic indeed.

He seems like a very intelligent man. Especially when you watch him in ADM. If he was an idiot there's no way he would have been able to play the part of Jung that well. Besides he seems to be very street wise with lots of life experience, which I personally value more than someone who spends most of their life with his/her nose in the books.

:laugh::graucho::D

Do you remember that scene in Good Will Hunting with Will and that Harvard student?
How do you like them apples? Classic!

yeah, Fassy looks very smart plus he's seems so humble and nice :hbeat:. Intelligence has nothing to do with going to University, i know so many stupid and arrogant *******s who went to prestigious business schools.

and back on the Armani styling for GG, he already wore it for another premiere (i can't remember which one), it was a very classic black suit/white shirt with no tie.. do you think Armani is a great designer choice for him ? i think gucci may be a better option (still great tailoring, but sexier than armani)

Yes, seems he gets tons of free stuff from adidas:
(...) I pick my way around boxes of Adidas trainers, which sit atop each other like a monolith in the middle of the floor. “He’s gotten so much stuff from them,” says Zoe in a flatly conspiratorial voice, as Fassbender attends to some business in the bathroom. “I’m trying to stop him from wearing the whole label, like, head-to-toe…”
