I think people are saying that it's normal for the tassel to split, although I wouldn't necessarily expect it on a new bag. But not the matte/shiny thing. Why don't you reach out and send them pics of the tassel? It wouldn't be a tough thing for them to replace...@muchstuff the tassel is not split. It's just like that. Part shiny and part matte. Im not 100% happy, but yeah... i think i'm going to try accept my bag like this because there's so much to do to refund and packing etc.
@BPC yesh the tassel bother me so much! But since everyone saying that it is normal then, i'll try to accept it.

Update: I've had my mini city metal edge chèvre in black and could not be happier with this bag. It is so so durable. I've been using it like crazy and it's showing not one hint of wear. I spilled iced coffee all over it the other day and it all just wiped off. This is my Balenciaga leather from now on. LOVE IT

I have the Vibrato & ME and also agree that the ME is noticeably heavier. Not sure which will hold up better over time, but the Vibrato will probably get more use from me just because it's lighter.

I'm so sorry, I don't put my image online but there are many threads here about what fits inside. In fact, they are what prompted me to purchase the bag for myself.
The Vibrato is the same leather as the Metal Trim, so if weight would be an issue .. definitely go for the Vibrato. Also, while Bal continues to make the Metal Trim, I think they did the Vibrato for a short period of time .. I haven't seen any new ones .. so might be a good idea to get it now if you can!

Anyway, I went really back and forth between black and Beige Sahara. I think the beige will be more maintenance, but the black is more common (in SF I see them pretty frequently) and I already have a black bag.

I did not use my small city bordeaux as often as I hope as it is HEAVY! and because it is so structured, I can not fit lots of things.
I end up using my Town more. So light, and also crossbody
So I returned this bag. It seemed too cutesy for me. I may get the black later, but I'm still on the hunt for a used black vibrato city.
