I too, prefer the pale gold! It's much more subtle and easier to match too!

Both F and G tags would be the paler gold according to CeeJay's info.

I recently bought this with silver hardware. Did yours get more soft and slouchy?

At first I was shocked when I saw the bag in store. It looked really boxy, stiff and shiny. It was fully stuffed and looked huge to me. The hardware looked super gold in the store lighting too. So I didn't buy it.

But i went home n looked at photos of people on Instagram who own the bag and I couldn't get over how luxurious and soft the metallic edge chèvre leather looked in people's photo. So yesterday I went back and took the risk and purchased one...and I couldn't be happier! :smile::nuts:

Today I used it for the first time and although still stiff n shiny, I can see it softening with my items inside. I'm sure it will soften and slouch more and more with daily use. Can't wait for the bag to become less shiny too. The leather looks so sturdy and thick, I love it. Also the gold hardware looks soft gold sometimes silver depending on the lighting.

Hi, my mum uses the bag mostly now because she loves it and i want the silver hardware more. yes it does get more softer, slouchier and less shiny with wear. But it still keeps it’s nice shape, doesn’t sag. You’ll love yours. I am on the hunt for black with silver metallic edge at a good price. :)

Hello to all the ladies here,my daughter has a ME bag in black and she just stores it by hanging it metal hooks which she installed in her bedroom wall,im wondering if its the right way to store it, how do you store yours when you are not using it?

It will eventually mar the tubing in the handles if the Bal is stored this way. I purchased a pre-loved bag recently and the handle tubing inside is messed up because the previous owner store her bag this way. I'm actually having the handles repaired.
I would also suggest storing the bag stuffed. I have found that these thicker ME bags will eventually curl up/inward in the back if they are stored flat.

Hi! Has anyone here seen the ombré grey city in person? I’ve come across one second hand am considering purchasing it. I think it may be from the 2015 f/w collection. I’m just puzzled as to why I haven’t seen more photos of it or people carrying it. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you

Oh boy .. that's unfortunate because these bags were rare as hen's teeth! However, I did not keep mine because I felt that the leather (which is Calfskin) was too fragile and that in the long run, it wouldn't fair well.
