I asked in Milan and Paris and they told me the same thing. That next season will just be yellow gold for the metallic edge. (Previous season silver and gold, now champaign and gold, next season only gold)
The SA told me it will be the same gold as on this dark red/maroon metallic edge that they have in the store. It's quite a bright 24k yellow gold colour.

congratss, how i wish the black ME could be on sale here in my country. the one's on sale is pretty much blahh

i would be the one who celebrate too if the real ghw makes a come back. to me the pale ghw is like a confusion. most of the time it looks like silver in fact. i mean it's like there's no point of making it yellow in the first place.

gorgeous blue? may I know what colour is this? it looks like bleu roi but ghw is so yellow and the texture is not that shiny as in the holiday collection. it's more like Agneau

The hardware in real life's not that yellow, the lighting of the room along with the time this photo was taken made it look super yellow (around sundown, so the light was golden). In real life, the hardware's a pale gold. :)

Alternatives to Bleu Paon would be the current collection's much darker, more indigo, Bleu Nuit :)

Yes! I was surprised it went on sale too!

I had the Gris Perle when ME first came out. I thought the leather was more stiff and thick - didn't quite like it so I sold it. It seems like they have improved the leather this round - softer and not dry. I had always wanted a black balenciaga... I really love the bag :heart::heart:

I hope the real GHW makes a come back. Good luck to you :D

According to SA @ Bal this week what's coming in the remainder of 15 is the yellow gold, (IMO not discernibly different from original release maybe a bit more intensely yellow.) No more silver or pale, though there is apparently a lot of pale inventory remaining to sell thru. Silver arrivals @ boutique have slowed to a trickle, though still avail on bal.com and NM has on pre-order for fall. So...? Unfortunately you never REALLY know what's truth and what's a sales pitch, and SA was quick to say "anything could come back in 16, we never know." Big help, huh?!

Hi bal fans. I don't know much about bal and only own 2, bought so many years ago. there's no bal store where I live so I hope to get some help here.

Besides city, which other model comes with metal edge? Apart from Velo, Is there any model with crossbody strap with metal edge? TIA

Envelope clutch, mini city, city, velo, part time (rare) and town (rare) comes with metallic edge. The papier range also comes with metallic edge.

Part time has a longer strap than city, which some people are able to sling cross body. Envelope clutch, mini city, town and mini papier has cross body straps.

I don't think a PT can be worn crossbody. In ME only the velo and mini city can be worn crossbody.
The pt has a longer shoulderstrap but I can't wear mine at all crossbody.
