Hi Xna! My ME with silver hardware is one of my favourite bags in my Bal collection because she looks gorgeous and feels heavenly. Many who have seen her have offered to buy her off me, but I'm not letting go of this one!
How did I choose her? I felt that the pale gold was a neither-here-nor-there type of colour. Whereas the silver really popped against the black. Plus most of my jewellery and accessories are white gold or silver. And so the choice was an easy one for me to make. Hope this helps!

Wow thanks so much for your quick reply!! I guess I've always gone for bags with gold HW despite the fact I have loads of silver/white gold jewellery... Maybe I should match it up with my bag like you! 😉 It sounds like everyone that sees her loves her, even offering to buy her off you! Haha. Don't let her go, she's simply gorgeous.
Thats exactly what I like about the soft gold. I feel you can wear it with gold or silver it just seems to blend in with whatever your wearing.
Thanks for all of your help guys. I decided to take the plunge and go with the SILVER!! I actually bought both and looked at them side by side and tried them with different outfits... To me the silver can be more casual and has more of a rocky/biker edge to it. As I mentioned before I already have quite a few black bags with gold HW and all of those can be dressed up or down but I was looking for something a bit different. The silver really pops on this bag, it's just soooo gorgeous!!
I just bought a Black Metallic Edge with pale gold hardware in Singapore. It's on 20% off. According to the SA, they are going to stop the pale gold hardware. The new hardware will be yellow - more yellow than when it's first released. How true is this?
Got my first Balenciaga. They call it blue but I think it's more in green.

Do you know if it will be the same bright yellow gold as the first edition or a different variation? I'm a big fan of the original yellow gold hardware so I would celebrate if it came back, but I was always told that the original gold was a limited edition and would never be brought back.
