'Mes and Pets

Walking my fur baby with a pair of yellow H shoes. My favorite color and never fails to cheer me up a bit even right now. I got some news from the vet. This old pup has a mass on his spleen that we found via ultrasound a little time ago (when we were actually checking something else). They took a biopsy of the mass and the results came back, inconclusive. Vet is suggesting consultation with surgical specialist as next step. I called and am waiting to hear back for an appointment. In the meanwhile, enjoying my walk with him

When the rodeo isn’t hanging out with Grogu (Baby Yoda), it’s keeping company with my cat.

Gorgeous animals, is he a Collie, Momoc? Hoping for good news for you and your beautiful boy.

Hi Kashmira! Nice to see you are posting. Lovely picture of Flora, and Ochi too!!
Thanks I am not so active here any longer (Perhaps I should - it is great fun and lovely people!) but when I saw Flora sleeping on my Trim I came to think of the old thread (the one I posted in which was from 2006…). I am happy to see that you are still active here.

I've trained my pets to use the guest bathroom when I'm not home... Or if I'm in a conference call wfh and I miss the cue for the toilet. Not letting them having access outdoors when I'm not home gives me peace of mind. Makes it much less easier for someone to jump the fence and snatch them. I also do not allow them to have access to look out any windows/doors, ie no one can see them through windows/doors when I'm not home. CCTV cameras are on every approach to the home with visible alarm system so hopefully that is enough to make any potential thief move on to the next house.

I had a public social media account which never had background or location detail which I deleted a few months ago. I don't think much would had been made from it but wasn't worth the risk so I shut everything down.

Now if they would leave how to pick up their sh*t and flush it down the toilet that would be great!

It's hard to get things insured to cost unless you pay through the nose to the point where it's not worth it for the little I have.

Ugh pet thieves are some of the lowest of the low! What precautions do you/your friends take to keep your furry ones safe?

Luckily, my hubby and I sold that house and now live in a high-rise with a front office and many locked doors. We're also a few minutes from our vet, and our pup is microchipped, so for now we have peace of mind.
That sounds like your pet is safe. My friends make sure that the cats are not visible and they have a stellar security system. In the neighbourhood the housed with visible pets are all targeted, attempting to break in and worse.

Yesterday I picked up the first of the FW21 scarves/twillys on my to have list. After setting the boxes down on the floor so I could quickly throw my clothes in the washer (hot Korean BBQ in a hot restaurant on a hot summer evening can really cling to a person!), I came back to this scene.

She had finished marking the boxes and was contently using one as a headrest.

And I was happy knowing that she approved of my silk choices  .
