I'm not a fan of the patent macassar bags in the runway. But I am sad LV is ignoring the Macassar and DE line. :crybaby:

I know!!! I am so sad the Macassar line is slowly evaporating. I pretty much own everything that is even left in Macassar. The printed canvas bags are just not for me and I feel a bit left out.

I couldn’t find a bag I really loved during my trip to France this winter and bought a Coffret Trésor instead (which I love). I was planning on buying a bag this summer—I had settled on one of the Monogram Glaze totes—but ended up purchasing a bag at Hermès. And I don’t regret it!!! I’m the biggest LV lover but, right now, LV is losing me.

I'm wanting a MTO bag from this season, which do you guys suggest I should order? I was thinking the second one is more standout, but the first one would go with more outfits.

I'm also worried that the second one may look dated quickly.

Apparently DE and Cobalt are not doing well according to some SAs. According to another there have been a lot of questions from clients about DE. Who knows but it is fair to say graphite has killed ebene and eclipse is now killing Macassar.

Maybe Cobalt would do better if they made more decent bags in that canvas. If I had the option between DG and DC for each bag, I'd probably go DC every time.
