My new PDV GM in Taiga ardoise!
I saw it on the eu website as it was not currently listed here on the Australian LV website. I quoted the product number and the SA said there was only one left in Australia, which I bought. :)
Its such a slick and understated work bag, I love it!

Very nice! That is one handsome bag.

Do you see yourself using it with the shoulder strap or primarily carrying it by the handles?

(I recently bought a standard PDV that doesn't have a shoulder strap and I've been wondering if that was a mistake in terms of "usability")

Congrats! It's a very classy bag. It's almost similar to the Montblanc bag I bought some weeks ago

Thanks!! :)
I exclusively carry it by the handles because 1) I don't like shoulder straps ruining my jackets from the friction; 2) its moderately heavy after I load it up with my portfolio, water bottle, umbrella, laptop, stethoscope and would become uncomfortable using the strap walking more than a couple blocks; 3) it looks more professional to carry it by the handle (IMHO)

Thanks for replying. You made my day! I agree with all of your points...and I feel much better about my PDV now.

I start a new job next month and plan to carry it (by the handles!) from day-1.

I did see a warning that the leather might tear where the D rings are if the weight is too heavy. It looked to me as if the band of stitching underneath the D ring might compromise the integrity of the leather.
I have a PDJ and attach the shoulder strap diagonally to the handle rings and that feels a better balance.

@melikesLV Congrats! Small correction though, this is not a PDV GM its a PDB GM. I have the same version in PM Ardoise as well. I love the bag and love the leather even more now after using it for 6 months. It becomes softer. Just like you, I bought it as well for a new job that I started as well. Pretty understated yet luxurious. Believe it or not, mine fits a 13'' laptop and a small umbrella for the rainy days in London!

@Dee1jay I as well use the handles more Vs. the straps. Feels better in hands and more professional.

Picture of mine with a little mono that I wanted to add to it.
