I think the Thomas looks outdated as well. The District PM is more classic.

I was looking at the District Pochette yesterday as an alternative everyday carry bag (phone, keys, wallet, etc).

Have you considered this one? I like that it doesn't have a flap. With the external pocket you can slide your phone and keys in there and quickly grab them.

I have this one and it is quite nice. I was using it just yesterday while going out with friends.

Hi

I've had my PDJ for a month now and on one side I've noticed that the canvas looks like its splitting. Its wear the clasp of the strap would rub, I try not to let it rub against the canvas but it happens sometimes. I was just wondering if you guys thought it would be something to be concerned about? Do you think it splitting or has the glazing just been rubbed off? Thanks.

The same has happen with my PDJ. It's the glazing. So far it's only on one side, where the strap rubs. I think the edges on the canvas along with the zipper is a weak point on the PDJ. It's not bended round and below like it is on other LV bags. I like the PDJ very much, but this is very negative. I'm not sure if it's possible to re-glaze these edges. I assume it's called "wear and tear"

Ugh now I wonder if this bag will need repair in the future? I wonder if I should even get it? I want a worry and hassle free bag ever since my PDV PM fiasco.

I don't think it's anything to worry about. At the end of the day LV sold us a bag with a strap, so if that strap ends up destroying the a bag then it's really their problem. I don't think it will get any worse it's just that the glazing is fragile.

I usually wear mine at an angle with the strap so it can't rub but last week I could hear and feel it rubbing against the bag but I was too busy to sort it out.
