No problem. Most of my wardrobe consists of blue/navy, so I think brown accessories looks best.
Actually came last Friday, but wasn't able to pick it up from the UPS store till today.

I have this piece and I like it.
It's not the most useful piece I own, but it's fun.
It can hold a pair of glasses or sunglasses, lip balm and some cash / credit cards.
An IPhone 6 will fit. A 6+ will be tight. I have the 6+ and use the Vuitton case. If I get inside, nothing else fits.
It's something I use when I want to be really hands free and carry very, very little.
Indeed this is exactly why I got it and I use the same items you mentioned. I don't like to carry all these in my skinny jeans and want to have hands free except that I customized mine to my liking. Don't ask me how I had the heart to do it as I never altered a Louis Vuitton item in my entire life but I though the long ribbon/rope was useless to me as I will never wear it around my neck or as a side bag as the rope is short for a side bag look. This is what I have done and I love it this way. I can rock it as a mini clutch on my wrist or as a small wallet on hand with the cute rope hanging. Btw does yours have a product date code? I cannot find mine anywhere?

Very nice customization! I have wondered about the practicality of hanging it around my neck; your alternative is a great idea.

I use the long cord crossbody as a way of going completely hands free (an incredibly light weight). Permanently shortening the cord would diminish it's value greatly for my uses.
I have occasionally shortened the cord by making some sort of aesthetically pleasing (and remotely nautical looking) knot.
This allows me to use it as Fonnas has shown without losing other functionality. I've also stuck this in another bag as just a pouch with stuff in it.
As part of the America's Cup collection, I believe the idea was that this could be worn around your neck and hold your valuables while sailing (an ID, cash, a key etc)
I dont sail, but I do find uses for this....especially during these hot summer months.
I can go out with the glasses I'm not wearing at the moment, a credit card, cash, lip balm and a car/house key.
The ease and weightlessness is terrific.
