My DH would rather be caught dead, I think. Which is good...the last thing we need to argue about is who is more deserving of a new purse!

Most guys in the UK carry a bag of some sort. I'm glad people here don't have the kind of hangups that some people in the USA have. Theres nothing even remotely feminine about carrying a bag, jeez, its not like makeup or a skirt, it's a pouch to hold your stuff.
My fiance carries a Samsonite messenger bag for work because he lugs his laptop back and forth. But when he doesn't need to wear a bag, he doesn't. I'm not sure how I'd feel about his-and-hers purses...
Not yet! But he'll be a student soon and since he carries his notebook with him every day to university, I am looking to buy him a LV damier messenger or notebook case either for our aniversary or his next b*day, but shhhhh, don't tell him! anyway, when he's not in school, he's got his pockets stuffed to the max but refuses to wear a bag... which I prefer, I dont want anybody stealing the spotlight from my purses! 
Yes, and he has quite a few messenger bags. It's quite common in Europe for men to carry a man purse.
Uh No, if I even tried to suggest it after he got up off the floor from laughing and realized I was serious his answer would be no way, no how and not even if you paid me to carry one. He is in both the military and law enforcement and I don't think he could show his face again if he trotted around with a man purse! Just the image though is giving me a case of the morning giggles. 
He does however carry a laptop and uses a laptop case for that, a very manly briefcase looking thing. Heh.

I am fairly certain my husband would rather carry a pink umbrella over a man bag. I'd bet money on it.
DBF has a Paul Smith messenger bag I found for him. He was always misplacing his keys, cell phone, sunglass case, and other stuff, because he had everything in different places. Finally I suggested he get a messenger bag. He loves it. Everything is in the bag where he can find it. No more running around the apartment frantically at the last minute searching for his keys!
