Hi all!

Do you think there is still a large stigma surrounding men buying handbags? As a man who owns a lot, I think there still is. I am hoping that this changed in the next few years.

I very much dislike the idea that certain things should be for certain kinds of people. Everyone is an individual after all and I think if you choose to wear/carry/eat/etc. something for good reasons that are true to who YOU are, then it will "fit" YOU and i believe people can see that from a mile away!

Similarly, if your choices are based on reasons people don't admire or agree with, then they will recognize that and judge you for the reasons behind the choice, not the the action itself...

I.e. as a man, if you wear a handbag in order to shock people, I don't think you will get a good reaction. But if you wear one because you want to and it is true to your style, the sincerity will show and it will look fantastic. Who could judge that?
Does anyone else see it this way?

(I own quite a few handbags because i love them as objects, but I do not wear them)

My husband has quite the bag collection himself and I think they really complete his outfits. It’s also convenient for him since he has a place for his wallet and keys instead of my bag since I carry a lot of random things so I have little room for extras 😜 he’s also received lots of compliments on them too when we’re out and about!
