Masters LV x Koons 2017 Collaboration

I am getting one and I am not even a LV person. I never thought I'd get a LV bag ever again (I sold my one and only Alma and don't miss it one bit).

Why am I getting one then and from this seemingly controversial collaboration? To me getting a blurry print of a masterpiece on a cheap museum souvenir makes it a lot less precious. It is also meaningless for me to get a print of the painting and framing it in a $50 frame. However I'd like to possess a piece of art in the nicest way possible and this LV collaboration made it possible (a lot of possibles in this sentence). A work of art on a work of art.
I agree. Just a fun bag..Jeff koons... even Dior uses large gold letters on pieces..tacky?

Oh boy... I just keep walking back and worth between these. I love them and want all of them!
I know the feeling! I decided to buy the two as I couldn't decide between them, hopefully after the bags are discontinued I can sell one of them for a small profit and then enjoy the other (I'm still not sure which one to keep yet as I still really love both.
The big advantage with these bags is that they usually keep their value and you usually make a profit selling them when they get discontinued.
I also heard a lot of items are not available to order anymore as the maximum production number was reached.

I love it..enjoy it. I also purchased this piece. I attach the chain from Felicie and use either cross body or longer shoulder
Your so right about the cross body options. Been alternating mine with the strap from my Eva and the lilac patent strap from my Monceau. Infact i havent used the gold chain it comes with as yet. So far its been working out perfectly for me. Enjoy yours in good health :flowers:

I saw the Koons collection last week and I must say that I'm impressed with all the details (the zip is blue for Rubens, pink for da Vinci...) and the inside of the bags. The website doesn't do justice to this collection which is really beautiful.

Hey guys.
To all you folks who purchased Bags from the Masters collection - how are they holding up with use? ... any issues or wearing? And to those in wetter climates - how are they (and the metal lettering) handling rain?

For those who are fans of this collection, here are the paintings used for Jeff Koons's phase 2 of this collab. I can't share the actual product images but I have to say that they are pretty beautiful. There might be more but these are what I've actually seen the products made out of.

Monet - Water Lilies

Can you say if the design of the bags is the same but just with the different artworks?
