The metal artist names centered on the bags reminds me of J'Adior and Moschino designs. It has that punk rock and classic vibe. I think when I see this in person, it will be more beautiful. I think if the front looks too bold, I can always use the backside with the classic logo embellishment.

I just wish they came up with better bag charm offering. Like putting the classic art on a round canvas with leather backing and metal embellishment.

The editors were given an advance look at the collection before the Fall show took place around March 7th. Until now production have likely to reduced the styles offer to 40. The article was written in advance and was just waiting until Monday to publish.

I am blown away by this collection! Gucci comes out with a Bengal tiger line and LV comes out with Rubens!!! Bow down to Louis! I want something from this collection as well as the DA tahitienne line, wahhhh!

Not everything is for everyone. The collection got people talking so that's quite an introduction. This is one of those that either you love it or you hate it. Me, as always, don't love nor hate it lol.

But seriously, Supreme, Fragments, Jeff Koons. 2017 is quite a year for Louis Vuitton. LVMH is posting record high profit for Q1 2017 so good for them I guess.

I happened to be just perusing the website this morning when I saw the collection. Fell in love right away..I think I even heard the angels sing on this one. I could not have dialed my SA's # fast enough to get me on the list and order me one..so you are not the only one who seems to be in the minority.
I'm very picky with what I like and fall in love with..this one just got me instantly. I really love the Mona Lisa. Which color did you go for?

Exactly that's life, not everyone has the same taste. I had lunch with my SA, who has been working for LV 15 years, we said the same, it has been a good year for LVMH.

I don't really mean the price tag. I just saw so many negative comments--> people seem hate this collection more than love it. There are so many things from LV that I did not like but I don't think I should say something like they are a joke, cheap or ugly...they are just not for me. It happened the same with Ramage collection, I bought one speedy and still love it, even though I don't use it often.

It is quite the normal pattern for these threads: new items (especially those that are a bit more radical) tend to generate passionate opinions!

Exactly.. I've never heard of Jeff Koons or his works. But say if he is kinda on par with the likes of say Banksy then I can see why people would buy it even if they didn't like his work. It would be like collecting a piece of Jeff Koons work of art so to speak. Ive seen preloved limited edition collaboration's items up for sale from mnay moons ago. The prices on certain collaboration aren't that hot so don't sell as quick or as expensive I would have thought they would. So I guess there is a risk.
