Elise I have been on the fence with the regular Minerva I felt it was just too big for me. Having said that I love the Selene which is large but I felt the Selene was more like a tote. I thought I could get away with the size of the Selene. I went with Aphrodite because it was smaller than the Minerva and I preferred the size.

I am drooling and swooning over midi Minerva I love the style and the size is perfect not too big not too small. I am going to have to break down and get a midi Minerva. I am thinking bronze more than likely.

I was just thinking that she would be beautiful in one of the Africa's. I need to start buying smaller bags so maybe one bronze or antique gold. I usually buy massive handbags, but I'm trying to get used to carrying something smaller as I tend to overload my bags and just because they call it a neverfull doesn't mean I don't try ;)

Now this is a size I can use! I can't wait to see the actual dimensions. Is it just my eyes though or is the front flap straight across whereas the larger one is tapered down? I have to admit I like the flap tapered down in the middle. It just gives the bag a sexier, curvier look. I wonder if that would be an option you could bespoke? I'd want to bespoke anyway so I could reduce the strap length since I don't shoulder carry.

Moonstarr I think you are right the flap on the midi Minerva looks like it is straight and not tapered like the regular Minerva. I quite like the straight flap on the midi and I also like the tapered on the regular. I am wondering if there might have been a design reason for doing a straight flap on the smaller Minerva.

Did you find the messenger strap on the Aphrodite too long for you or not? I am only 5' 4" and the messenger strap is too long for me on my first Aphrodite. I asked Valentina to get some more holes put on the my all purple Aphrodite. I am thinking I might have to get another black strap made for the gray and black Aphrodite. Once I try out the purple one with the extra holes I might be able to see what length to make that leather strap on messenger strap. I am sure I can request and purchase another strap just the piece of leather that attaches to the buckles on the Aphrodite. It is just straight strap with some holes in it so it should not be that difficult a request to get a smaller piece made.

I think the messenger strap feels fine on me, but I have a bit more to go around and I'm just slightly taller. :D I'll bet they will be willing to make a new black strap for you.

The yellow sitting pix does make the flap look straight across to me, but I think it is an optical illusion, the yellow with her standing and this one below it look tapered to me like Minerva, we will have to ask. I just love this one! Off to work, ugh, I want to stay home and plan handbag purchases, lol.

How long does shipping from Italy normally take? I am in the U.S. - assume about a week to ten days? I am thinking that Taupe Minerva should arrive by the end of this week!

Di, if it's just some extra holes, maybe you could get a local Shoe Hospital to punch them in for you. Then you could have instant joy. No offense to Marco, but I don't see why a Shoe Doctor in your hometown couldn't do something like holes in a leather strap. And it would save you from having to wait for your bag to go to Italy and come back!

Years ago I had a pricey cross body made for very tall folks. It panicked me, but a trip to a shoe repair place and 3 extra holes were punched and it worked!

Agreed! I think it is the Bespoke Pebbled leather Turquoise (although I would confirm) I have heard it is stunning in person and from the pictures I agree.
