Hmmm ... from what I recall, the Sorbet was brighter. It really was beautiful and it also had the veining in the leather. Now that I look at the two of them side by side (both screen shots) the Sorbet was much more pink ... more magenta? It makes the Massaccesi pink look more red (although it's definitely a pink IRL). So if they come out with a similar pink .. :nuts:

BTW ... just checked and my bags are in London already! Hopefully they can make it to Canada by the end of the weekend and then I think I'll definitely receive for Christmas. Merry Christmas to ME! :laugh:

:laugh: Love that you're going to sneak some photos in when he leaves the house. :D The black pebbled looks so rich ... a very deep true back. Can't wait to see photos.

On the website, if you click on the little triangle next to "Product Description", then more information about the bag will drop down. Definitely a messenger strap included.

After pondering for many weeks and looking through the reference thread and leather thread a couple times, I decided on a midi Minerva for my first Massaccesi. Pebbled leather, ananas color (a juicy pineapple color), removal of middle section, and my own cloth as lining. I LOVE the bag and have carried her exclusively since I got her. I've placed detailed pics in the reference thread, but just want to raise here what I would have changed given the chance to start over.

It's the cross bosy strap: I guess the default is it is thinner and without the bling, compared to the shoulder strap. Makes sense, since crossbody is a more relaxed, informal style. Given the chance to start over, however, I would request the same width and bling as the shoulder strap. In the pics below, the thinner one attached to the bag is the crossbody strap (the wider, with bling, the shoulder strap). Just fyi if you are ordering Minerva.
