I hope we can see more details soon about what appeared to be the smaller sized Minerva. I love the look of this bag ... and in a mid size it would be just perfect (although I would probably shorten the straps to be able to hand carry more easily). Can't wait to see more reveals of this bag!

I really am interested in the smaller size as well Moonstarr....though it surprises me how the large on carries so well. I am not a big bag girl at all and I love carrying Minerva. I don't know if it is the strap drop, where it hits on the body or what...but it is pretty perfect comfort wise.

Still...a smaller version interests me lol!

For those of you that have the Teal...what do you think of it? Is is dark like a peacock color? I am interested in the color, but I would prefer something that is more like peacock than turquoise.

It is definitely more peacock than turquoise. It is a true dark teal. Peacock blue, yes, but it has very slight tones of green. That combination is one of the loveliest colors of MM's collection, in my opinion. It's very rich and looks extremely expensive. I am 100% sure it will be the leather of my next bag, which will be a Minerva. Right now I have a bronze Selene being made because I couldn't stand to have to wait for an Africa metallic. (If you knew my history with metallics, you'd know what I mean by Insane Metallic Lover.) I'm really impressed by the colors MM has found for us. They are by no means ordinary, not a single one of them. MM's decades of experience is quite evident, judging by his choices and decisions. He is truly an artisan, and we are very lucky to know him.

Thanks for the insight! I appreciate it...the teal really sounds like a great choice for my next one. Can't wait to see your bronze!

Hi LuvAllBags :hugs: To my eye, it is a deep, dark and saturated Teal Blue with Green undertones. It is dark like the colors in a peacock feather. I do not see any Turquoise. I LOVED it but did not select at first because I already have a teal bag and they were too close in color. The more I looked at the Massaccesi Teal, I knew I loved it more, so I sold my existing Teal and ordered a Selene.

It is special and really beautiful! Happy weekend to you!

Odebdo I am also not a big bag girl either that is why I really want the baby Minerva to come out. Although I agree with you I tried Lovies taupe Minerva when she was here for tea last weekend and I was surprised that I was able to carry a bag of that size and that it did not look as though the bag was wearing me.

The Divina was really way too big for me and because it is so structured it looked like a weekend luggage bag which is not what I was looking for. That is why I changed it for the all purple Aphrodite.

I measured the Selene against the measurements of the Divina and they are similar in size. I think the Selene being unstructured will be easier to carry and not look as big as the Divina.

Heavenly days, Minnie (Mid-sized Minerva) is to die for! :yahoo: Sooooooooo cute!

Marco has posted new pictures of the Minerva midi he is calling Minnie. Beautiful little sister to Minerva! I wonder what the measurements are for this bag? The front flap is straight across instead of the "V" of the Minerva flap. It's great that it has a character its own and not an exact duplicate. We have to wait until tomorrow for the details on FB.

Thanks Lenie for letting us know about this. It is really exciting that there will be a Minnie Minerva. I looked at the Minerva but knew it was too big for me. The minnie is the perfect size for me.
