I just picked up my Taupe Minerva. She is beautiful! I love the color, style, size, leather, and workmanship. The only thing wrong was that the inner zippered pocket and the middle zippered compartment didn't have any zipper pulls so it is hard to open the zipper. I have emailed Valentina to see if she can send me the zipper pulls. In the meantime, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Please see the pictures. Other than that, I love the bag and plan to order a bespoke Minerva soon.

Ohhh nooo! That is sad! Well that beautiful angel of ours Valentina will get you your pulls! I am happy though that you love the leather and style and that you and I are bag twins! I am planning a Bespoke too lenie! I am having a tough time waiting for the swatches, but try I must! Keep us posted on your zipper pulls, ok? They will remedy it, I just know it!

Well, yesterday I got stuck in the meeting that wouldn't end and got out of work late. Couldn't get to post office in time to get my lovely. I am about to shut down and head out so I can finally meet my gorgeous bag!! Will post pics as soon as I can.

Thank you, LoveHandbags! for the quick tutorial on posting photos. I will reference it and post.
Well of course dearest josieblime, newest of our new Massaccesi Girls, we must all stick together!
Wait until you have your Minerva, you will be like me, unable to concentrate at work because Minerva's beauty keeps distracting you! The eyes just keep drifting over to her. Looking forward to seeing your gorgeous baby soon!

I have carried the teal since I received it. The bag is starting to slouch nicely and the strap drop is great. I wore mine over a coat in between on site customer meetings all day yesterday and it was just a pleasure to carry around.

This makes me so happy to read VannieVan! :yahoo:

I got my teal Minerva today finally!! The delivery strike stalled it in Italy and then tracking showed it cleared customs Sunday morning at 3:37 am....not that I checked it often enough to memorize the time!

Anyways...she showed up via UPS this evening! Surprise!

I have cranky babies so no pictures yet...but my first impressions...she is big...I knew that though...but my wallet is way down in there! The shoulder strap is comfortable right out of the box! And the magic swivel so no matter what it lays right in your shoulder is genius on Marcos part! I love the interior layout with the center zip divider....the front poachers will be great...so I am excited!

Word of warning....I requested some swatches and when I went to look for them in the box I found the messenger strap wrapped...I forgot she came with one and might have missed it had I not looked for the swatches!!

Anyways...teal Minerva is in the house!!! I love the color!!! And even though I am a silver hardware person, I think I am going to like the gold...

Glad to join the Minerva madness!,

Did you get your swatches, Deb???

That's too bad ... Hopefully they can send the pulls soon. In the meanwhile, it may not be pretty but you could attach a paperclip just to be able to use the zipper. That might be not the best solution, but it might work until you get the real deal in. Maybe use the plastic coated ones though so they don't scratch the metal.

That's a good idea, but I was able to unzip it so I'll just leave it unzipped until I can get the pulls. I emailed Valentina with pictures so I am hoping they can just send the pulls to me.

I see Minerva Bespoke as $570. Plus $32 shipping. I think that's what it always is because I wrote down the prices in a little notebook so I wouldn't have to always be looking them up.

Did the prices of the bespoke Minerva go up? When I priced it before, I think it was in the mid $500's USD with shipping and today it is $601 USD.

I just got an email from Valentina and a personal note from Marco about the missing zipper pulls. Marco is sending them to me via express shipping. It is obvious from their emails that they feel very badly about this. They take such pride in their workmanship and products that even a simple mistake like the missing zipper pulls is very upsetting to them. This just makes me feel even more proud to own a Massaccesi bag. They seem to have the long forgotten business ethics and value of a company who truly stands behind every product they create. The bags are more like works of art that are carefully made by hand especially for the buyer. I am so looking forward to adding more Massacessi pieces to my collection.

That's weird. I just went to their website and it show a bespoke Minerva as 475 Euros including shipping. When I used the euro to dollar conversion, it came out to about $600.

Oh boy, I guess I shouldn't try to do math at night. $570 plus $32=$602, which is what I got too. I must have been dreaming that the price was lower. That's okay. The bags are totally worth it.

Now THAT is outstanding customer service and it makes you happy to support such a great company. I know I'm proud to carry my Aphrodite. I look at her and think of all the care and workmanship that went into her and I know I'll be supporting this great company again.

I am so happy to read this lenie! I just knew they would remedy this right away for you. They take such pride in their craft, and I agree, I have never been more proud to carry a handbag as I have with Massaccesi. With all your sentiments, I wholeheartedly agree.

I would ask for advice on how to fasten them on, you don't want to scratch them, ask Marco how he does it!

Yes, that is what I wrote down in the very beginning too, the Bespoke Minerva has always been $570 plus shipping. I think I first saw it in their online catalog??? Can't remember where but it has always been consistent.

I am so happy Teal Minerva has arrived safe Odebdo! :yahoo: It was a long wait for you! Enjoy wearing the beauty my friend :hugs:

I'm so glad the Northeaster has passed so I can let my baby out of the house again tomorrow. I'm usually not too fussy but the rain has been coming down in sheets for days.

Yay rain go away! Come on out :sunshine: and Minerva! Enjoy taking her out ginaf! :tender:

Gina, do you have the pebbled leather? If so, I can assure you with all the confidence in the universe that rain will not hurt your bag. Water just rolls off of it.
