Absolutely gorgeous and you are right, it is such a tough colour to photograph. Beautiful, both of them.
Aphrodite in horizon grey in nappa leather. Marco said that Aphrodite was designed for pebbled leather but agreed to make this one in nappa
The leather was a bit stiff at first but after two weeks of constant use it has softened beautifully. The last picture shows the bag empty and you can see how it now puddles.
Your Aphrodite is gorgeous!! I love how Marco allows us to customize our orders. I think Aphrodite in nappa looks very good and might be my choice too for an Aphrodite.

Do you find the cross body strap too long? I am only 5'4 and wonder if I should request it shorter or leave it standard with maybe a couple extra holes punched in the strap?

Thank you. I'm 5'4 too and the crossbody strap is way too long. I don't mind because I never carry this way but I left in for decoration. The bag lands mid thigh on me on the shortest length so I would suggest a shorter strap. Extra holes will have the end of the strap closer to the D ring - it's about 2 inches away as standard.

Oh, so many beautiful bags!!Personally, Aphrodite is not a usual style I carry, but when I saw yours in nappa, hmm, I'm thinking it would work for me. Do you feel it is better in nappa?
It's really a personal choice but for me I find my pebbled bags look more classic and chic and the smooth matte leathers more modern. But I love the way that pebbled is so light and smooshy. It's always a hard choice but I tend to choose smooth over pebbled.
