A few weeks back I posted a reveal thread for my Massaccesi Aphrodite in Purple/Horizon Grey.

I was so happy with the style and the incredible workmanship that I had to get another, especially since seeing some of the Dark Teal leather reveals. Gorgeous! I decided to bespoke a Dark Teal with black straps Aphrodite. I went with the standard light gold hardware (which can look both silver and gold depending on the light ... beautiful!) and the standard grey lining. I just received her last night and she's everything I was hoping for! The leather already feels softer than the purple, although the purple over the last few weeks has softened up as well.
This bag is very comfortable to wear, either with the messenger strap or the handles (FYI ... I had the handles shortened on this bag to about a 5.5-6" drop so I could more easily hand carry it.). What I love about the inside ... it has two interior slip pockets and a zipper pocket which sit a bit higher up so it's so easy to reach in and grab your phone, etc. It also has a clip inside, plus another ring (you can see on my interior photo - I actually thought that was such a nice touch for Massaccesi to add these.). Because it's deep enough, you could comfortably (in most cases) carry it without zipping it up as everything stays secure at the bottom. To top it off, the bag feels very lightweight.
And the leather ... oh the leather. It's amazing! Gorgeous, thick, dark teal. It definitely has green in it. I think my photos show the colour best on the photos with the door behind them. This colour is very hard to photograph. I took photos in three locations and in most locations that lighting brought out the blue. There is also a photo of my purple/horizon grey Aphrodite that shows how the leather has softened.
I was also VERY pleasantly surprised to receive all the swatches for the Fall/Winter line.

I have spent a lot of time looking at them and dreaming of my next bag! I'll post photos of them in the swatches thread if anyone wants to see.
I just can't say enough about Marco and Massaccesi Handbags. Top notch customer service ... they really go above and beyond. To receive a bag that is handmade just for you by this Italian atelier, and not have to break the bank; all I can say is I'm really proud to support this amazing company!
