Has anyone seen the Frame Crossbody in person? I keep looking at it online. The color I want is sadly out of stock at the moment but hoping it comes back at some point.

What do you guys think of the new designs by recently hired CCO, Sean Spellman? They're inspired by archival MC pieces from the 70s. I love the Jane, in particular, but I think the Romy is gorgeous, too. (I'm guessing named after Jane Fonda and Romy Schneider, icons of the 70s? )

My new vintage darlings or, well, I think they’re vintage anyway. Preloved at least - I haven’t found any kind of database on Mark Cross styles by year so it’s hard to date them definitively.

The first is a bit of an oops baby. I got the small black bucket bag and loved her so much that I thought I’d snap up another one in brown when I saw her, thinking it was the same bag. Well… not quite, lol. She’s much bigger than I expected. It’s okay though - I’m a big bag person most of the time anyways.

Then there’s my new darling. I love her, she’s so pretty. No idea where I’ll wear her but that’s not important. Cost more than I’d normally pay for a pre-loved bag but less than I paid for my last new Coach bag so I still feel pretty good about it. She’s about 20cm at the base, not big but still a functional size, and she hits a lot of the high points of my holy grail bag (vintage H Kelley in box calf). Definitely a bag I can see myself hanging onto forever.

Received an email from Mark Cross today for their Sample Sale. There are some great deals. Sale is hosted by 260 sample sale, which gets some customer service complaints (particularly LONG waits for shipping) so be aware of that. I MAY have purchased a bag (or two)

I've been collecting Mark Cross for many years and am finally frustrated by them. You can't call them! You have to email them with every question and they may or may not write back. So annoying. Luxury brands should have luxury service.
