I got the small black MT with gold hardware last year but I hardly use it. I noticed that the turn lock portion is tarnished. The rest of the gold hardware is still very much yellow and shiny. Anyone face that problem with their gold hardware?
I thought mine was tarnished as well (also have the same MT small with gold) and after wiping the metal with a soft cloth, it became yellow and shiny again. Try it! I hope it works for you.

Oh, you're so tolerant, it's really nice. But I'm worried about the quality. The assemblage and the leather seem to be really fragile and cheap... I talk with Marco in person but he don't want to reassure me about that fact. :cry:
I can assure you that the bag itself is not fragile - it is the one bag that I do not baby at all, whatever leather he uses (I think goatskin), it can take any beating! No scratches either. I was thinking about this while perusing the Celine forum where the bags are so prone to scratching, it is making me think twice about getting a Celine bag.
Would love the bag even more if it was lined, or if the folded leather inside does not show on the outside. But whatever glue and sewing technique he does keeps the bag together quite tightly. Hope this helps!

I have an MT bag, as well as a Birkin.. the leather is different, obviously... But I don't think the MT bag is cheap or low quality leather. I actually really like the MT bag. I have the original, not the newer version.. But I'm thinking of getting another one, in green..
