This is absolutely gorgeous. May I ask where you purchased this bag & the price? I went on ******' website and didn't see any (only one pre-order item for a small IIRC); the last time I visited her site (several months back) there were a ton of MT bags but I guess everything is sold out and/or she isn't carrying the line anymore(?).

I got it directly from Marco Tagliaferri himself. I had asked if he would make it in a Louboutin Red on his facebook page. A few weeks after that, I received a pm from him letting me know that he had made it for me ;). It took a while for me to get it though, it seemed like forever. I must say, it was well worth the wait. He mentioned that the bag has generated interest and that he might release it to the public next season. It really is gorgeous, and it will always match my shoes when I go out. :p

I agree. I had the small and it was tiny compared to what I'm used to. They aren't worth the full price...max I would pay would be $300 for a medium with shorter handles.

Hello,

I've been thinking about the MT bag and have been reading through this forum (still not finished reading it yet) of their reviews of the bag. There seem to be a lot more positive then negative (and it's great to know about the cons and see more pictures of the purse).

I was wondering...Has anyone seen an actual Black Medium MT Waxed vs the Washed in person. I love how the Washed MT had looked @ Wendy's Lookbook but then I saw the images of the color Waxed MT. The Waxed MT in color looks classier (?) but I'm not sure how much I care for the Waxed MT in Black. Does anyone have any feedback on the waxed vs the washed in black?

Thanks in advance. I'm somewhat of a beginner at purses and this forum is so informative! I hope that I don't get too addicted. :)

I am fairly new to this forum. I actually found it through Wendy (thank you!). You guys are all so helpful with pictures and sharing your stories! :-)
I have been eyeing this baby for a while too but would love to get my hand on one. A few question tho, I am 5' as well, does it comes in Small/Med. Im afraid Small might be too small for me as I like to carry a lot of stuff. Another question is, how easy is it to open or close the bag? It seems like you have to use the lock every time? Thank you so much!

Hi Kaitlyn,
Welcome to tPF! I am 5' and I have the small. If you have a lot of stuff to carry, the medium would be better for you. I use my MT when i don't need much to bring with me, although I have to say it does carry a lot and I like how it looks when it is full. I follow Wendy's tip of putting a scarf in the bag to fill it out. I am used to just keeping the middle flap keeping the bag closed and not entirely closing the side flaps (hard to describe but if you look at Wendy's pictures, that's how she does hers. Also see HolySweet's picture of her small MT above). Also, if you buy from ******, Erica (the owner) was able to customize the long strap of the bag so that when you do leave the bag open and you are carrying it with the long strap, the contents do not spill out. This strap customized thing is exclusive only to Erica, as I understand. I hope this helps!!

Thank you so much Anna for your help. After looking at Wendy's and HolySweet's picture, I finally get it now :amazed:. Im still contemplating between getting a small or med. I wish they have a size in between Small and Med, that would be so awesome, don't you think? :-). Right now, Im trying to decide if I want the Marco or Balenciaga City. Such a hard decision.

You're welcome. For me (my opinion) the Balenciaga City is better in quality. Plus, it is that size between an MT small and medium. Good luck!
