Yes! The price was reasonable and I hope that I can use it as an everyday bag/work bag. We will see… I bought all my preloved Bals from Vestiaire so I hope it will be also fine this time.

Thank you! I had a 05 Choco city eons ago which I sold to my eternal regret. I've been wanting another 05 choco, but hopefully something other than my 904th City, and preferably smaller. I'd never given the box a try, but this one's a keeper.

A few years ago... seems like yesterday, my neighborhood was surrounded by raging fires. Scooped up cats, a Weekender and my
Chocolate Day. So when considering what to save in a fire. I know.

Don't know if I'm going batty or losing my eye sight in my old age, but I see an ever so subtle dark burgundy or even dark plummy purple sheen to this 05 choco. I don't remember my city having this tint, though my city was also a bit more faded.

It could be the lighting, but it wouldn't surprise me if there is a bit of plumminess as an undertone.

I do know there is no red or green undertone generally.

Just checked photos of a City I've had, and most do not show the plummy undertone, but a few do. Here's one that I never noticed does have that almost purple tinge.

The bag is absolutely beautiful and in very good condition, don’t know why the seller mentioned it as only „good“. I really like the color in combination with the giant silver hardware and it has the unique Balenciaga leather smell still on it.

What do you say?

I will condition her a bit and take her out tomorrow.
