Another amazing find! Must have been produced right on the cusp of the 2001 NG‘s first Classique. And probably an inspiration for the early Weekender. Love being surprised by what you discover!

Sometimes you gotta love the lethal combo of browsing VC due to a very slow day at work, lol.
It’s been a busy month.
Vermillion (I think) GGH Work (arrived smelling like woodsmoke and soaked in some sticky conditioner)
2011 Cyclamen GSH Work (arrived reeking of floral perfume with glittery makeup all over the main lining and what I swear were gravy stains in the front pocket)
2005 dark green four pocket ( seller sent me a Hartmann carryon instead, moved during the sale so I could not return using eBay’s label, and then had to resend the correct bag from a THIRD address)
End result, I love these bags and they were all dirt cheap but really I don’t understand why people can’t get it together a little better.

Congratulations! The Cyclamen has me swooning. I don't normally gravitate towards pinks, but every time I see Cyclamen, I am amazed by how gorgeous the color is. And the leather on yours....
@LostInBal and I are Sapin twins. Twice I lost on the auction for this. It was relisted each time, and third time was the charm. I couldn’t tell from the listing photos what color it was exactly, but the mirror pocket tells me it’s sapin and I’m thrilled. The leather is over the top.
Wow, hard to tell it’s Sapin but mirror confirms it certainly is, because zipper tape looks almost black in the first pic

here's the original listing. and photo next to 05 black city and grenat bacon (which also looks nothing like in the photo). My 05 black is so deep and saturated, you'd mistake it for a black hole. But my camera makes it look like a washed out wannabe charcoal.

These are lovely, even if over blown by camera. I’ve got what is supposed to be a great camera, does the same frustrating thing. I found that backing up farther away than you want to be, will sometimes bring out the actual color. Then cropping out the extra framing leaves the right size and color.It's definitely green.
