awww mm, i can't wear sling backs for that exact reason. they NEVERRRRR stay on my feet!
and if you pay that much for shoes, they better fit perfectly right?! ;)

That's like me. I bought so much makeup a while ago. But I don't even know how to use it. I even tried to get my friend to teach me but it didn't help. I still have a ton of unopened makeup. :push:

Aw, MM, that's too bad:( I know you were so excited to get them. Have you tried a gel pad under the ball of your foot? Sounds weird but sometimes that makes the back fit better. Worth a try anyway! If not, something else will come along. And that's way too much to pay for shoes that don't feel right. (I know, I'm still trying to sell my first pair for a significant loss!)
I looked like such a goof today trying to break mine in/stretch them a bit. I literally did laundry, vacuumed and cleaned out my closet in my cutoff sweats, a t-shirt and a pair of four inch(?) heels! Glad no one rang the doorbell!

you can have this strap shortened so that it gives you a tighter fit -- when I bought a pair of CLs I had to have the ankle strap shortened -- the SA told me that for some reason, the strap was made too big on that style and everyone who bought a pair had the same problem -- the straps had to be shorted. I had this done at Nordstroms for $15 and when they came back they were perfect! You couldn't even tell that the strap had any "work" done to it (and they fit more like "normal" ankle straps)

what's everyone up to tonight? i washed sheets and towels, cleaned out more excess stuff i don't use from the bathroom, ran to CVS for eye drops and a curling brush that they DIDN'T HAVE (:cursing:)...i have two of these hair dryer/curling brush things and they both decided to break on New Year's Eve. so my hair has been in a ponytail for 3 days since it looks horrible without being smoothed with that thing.

my h is gearing up to watch the first Supercross race of the season tonight so i'm sure i'll be on here for a while.

Hey, Dawn! I'm here but I'm getting a pretty fierce headache behind my eyes so the computer may not be a great idea for me tonight. I've just been cleaning and doing laundry today in my stilettos, lol. Getting ready to settle in with some vino and my Lucky mag. I hear ya on the hair thing! My Chi iron quit working last year and I was seriously up a creek until I got it replaced. My hair is soooo not wash and go!

You have GOT to be freaking kidding me. The buyer of my teal stam just messaged me saying that she got it and the color looks darker than it did in my pics. WTF? If this turns out to be one of those situations like Ghost has had recently I'm just going to cry, especially since the funds from that purchase are already spent. :sad:

I have been cleaning out drawers all day. I had so much junk and excess papers. Yuck!!
I have so much more to do. It is amazing how much stuff you can accumulate.

PM, that buyer needs to get a grip. When you buy on E-bay without seeing the item IRL first, that is the chance you take. That should not be a reason to return.

Thanks, girls. I responded and basically said that different monitors show color differently and that on mine it looked accurate. The auction was final sale so I told her I hoped she would still enjoy the bag and wished her the best. But after Ghost's nightmare buyers I'm worried that it could still end up being a problem for me. Ugh. I wish I could just deal with PFers! I had several other bidders but who knows if they're still interested or if they've already moved on, KWIM?

Roro, I know what you mean about the clutter. It's ridiculous how much stuff we accumulate! When we moved last time we got rid of so much and I swore it wouldn't get to that point again, but lo and behold...it's ba-ack! It always feels so good to get closets and drawers cleaned out for some reason. Very satisfying!
