i enjoy my 9-5! tad - i totally hear you on the waking up thing though. my schedule's been so out of whack after new years (sleeping late, waking up late) that tomorrow is going to be a rough day...i can already feel it.

i think i'm leaning toward whiskey. i've been using a coach mini skinny as a wallet for so many years and i reeaally want to upgrade.

dawn, i'm a 2l and your friend was right. the first year was definitely the roughest. it's relative breeze from there. that's awesome that you got a personal trainer. i want one!

Tad, what kind of law will you practice? My dad's a trial attorney (civil) and I have a couple friends who are DAs and one who's a criminal defense attorney. They all work so hard but seem to thrive on it!

Brunch fell through but my honey just handed me a mimosa so I feel like I'm on vacation! We're going to see Slumdog Millionaire so I'm really excited since I've heard so many good things about it!

^I was wondering the same thing, Indi. Seems pretty high IMO. She's not normally one to come down on price in my experience. She's had a topaz banana hobo up FOREVER and she still won't lower the asking price. (Which is pretty darn high to begin with.) Very pretty stuff, tho!!

Ohhh, I know which one you're talking about.. They have the amanda in topaz as well that have been up on the bay for the longest time..

My spring semester starts on Tuesday and I'm so not looking forward to it.. :push:

Good morning, everyone! Definitely going to make the most of today, since it is back to the grind tomorrow. I love having a 9-4:30...I leave my work at work and do not think about it again until the next day. It would make me nuts if I had to contantly be working, even on my down time.

I am going to pack a bag with athletic shoes and some work out clothes and bring them in to work tomorrow. I am really going to try to walk during lunch. There is no excuse, since I get 1 1/2 hours. I told my co-workers I was going to do it and they said they will drop over dead if I do, since they have never seen me wear tennis shoes!

Hi Indi!

I got about 3/4 of the way on taking the tree down. I ran out of boxes to pack my ornaments. I even used one of my Marc Jacobs boxes. I wish I had kept another one of those. It is perfect for packing ornaments. I am vowing to have that thing down by tonight, though. I am being kind of lazy. I also promised my daughters that I would take them shopping so that they could spend their Christmas/Hannukah money. Can't pass up a shopping trip. Sounds much more fun than taking down that tree.

Yeah, usually! They (14 year old twin girls) are not that into clothes, bags, etc. They like them, but not as much as they love Anime and Manga. They are nuts for it. In downtown L.A., there is a section called "Little Tokyo" and everything is Japanese. There are lots of stores that have all that stuff and they are just so excited to go. It's like me going to a mall that has Neiman's, Nordstrom, Saks and Bloomies all in one place! LOL. I might force them to take a detour and maybe do some mommy-shopping!:graucho:
