ugh, PM that STINKS. I hope everything works out okay - what a pain!

I have so many things that I could be doing right now; laundry, cleaning out closets, organizing the post-Christmas clutter...but I'm doing nothing! We took the boys to visit my grandmother today (she hasn't seen them since my almost-2 year old was a baby) and I am WORN OUT. She lives 2 1/2 hours or so away, so we decided to just make it a day trip. They were good on the way there and while we were visiting, but both of them were nuts on the way back. I wanted to jump out the window halfway home!

The auction was final sale so I told her I hoped she would still enjoy the bag and wished her the best. But after Ghost's nightmare buyers I'm worried that it could still end up being a problem for me. Ugh. I wish I could just deal with PFers! I had several other bidders but who knows if they're still interested or if they've already moved on, KWIM?

I think you handled this situation quite well PM! A final sale is a final sale! Did you sell it on eBay? I hope nothing more comes of this buyer. I have sold many things there, but only had one person tell me the color looked different from the picture I had posted. To me, it looked exactly the same. She ended up keeping the bag and actually gave me positive feedback. I hope your situation turns out positive, as well!

:roflmfao: i'm sure your grandmother was so happy to see her great grandkids! it's so cute to see my grandma and pap with my niece and nephews. :heart:
we still have to put away all the christmas stuff...h has promised we will do it tomorrow. thankfully, it's a few odds and ends, the ornament and tree, and a wreath. we didn't put up any external lights this year so that helps with the clean up! :tup:

Windy, thanks for the support! I hope my situation turns out like yours did. (It was also an ebay sale.)

I<3, spending 2 1/2 hours stuck in a car with two wound up kiddos is deserving of a medal! Whew! No wonder you're taking it easy tonight!

I actually got freakishly motivated on Friday and took down all the Christmas decorations/ornaments. DH took down the tree and the outside stuff so we're back to normal now. Looks so bare!

Okay, this headache isn't going away so it's bedtime for this monkey. Nightie-night, girls!!

I think she was happy to see them. Unfortunately she was under the weather so she didn't get to enjoy them as much as she could have. :sad: But hopefully we'll be able to take them to visit again in a few months.

We finally took all of our indoor decorations down on Thursday. All we have left outside is the wreath on the door and the "blow up thing" in the yard. I'm hoping to get those down tomorrow so we can be done with it!

Good Morning!

thanks for the well-wishes,all; DH is doing better. Is anyone else seriously dreading the end of the day today, as work begins anew tomorrow?
Forget December 26; this is the end of Christmas to me. No more lie-ins, impromptu shopping trips at 2 p.m., feeling okay about not looking at email for a couple of days....*sigh*

I'm actually dreading my son going back to school. I'll miss him! I used to hate Sunday nights so much, especially at my last job which was uber stressful. Ugh. You certainly start your days early, Dawn! I used to be to work by 6:45 so I had the same schedule. Then there's my mom who gets up at 4:45 every morning so she can hit the gym before work. (I inherited a serious lazy streak from elsewhere in the family tree!)

There's definitely something to be said for jobs where you can leave it all behind at 5 o'clock. Then your off time is actually off time, KWIM? I didn't have that with my last job (it was always weighing on me, not to mention the fact that I often had evening meetings, phone calls at home from teachers and parents, etc.). Kind of like school, where there's always a test or paper or assignment hanging over your head.

We're heading to brunch this morning with some friends and later DH and I are going to see a movie and get a drink since our date last night fell through. I hope everyone has a lazy, relaxing Sunday!

i know what you mean. that's one of the main reasons i'm not looking forward to being a lawyer. not only are there 80+ hour weeks, but that work comes home with you. with banking, i can just finish my assignments then after 5 pm, i'm done with them or i don't have to think about it the next day. it's not a bad job. it's the waking up that kills me inside. i love sleep.

what movie are you going to see, pm? i hope your sunday is relaxing as all sundays should be. you know what i want to see? bride wars, but it doesn't come out until friday.

LOL PM! your mom is awesome!

i start my personal training sessions tomorrow (mon and wed for this week then we have to get a schedule going), and school starts next week. ugh. only six more classes. that's what i have to keep telling myself!!!

i want to see bride wars too. i love kate hudson and it looks to be just a silly girly movie. :heart:

kim i didn't know you were in law school! what year are you in? i don't think i could ever do that. my friend jessica is a first year and she said the first semester was SO hard.
