i'm searching for a new show too. my bf just bought the first seasons of mad men and dexter. one of our favorites, pushing daisies is getting canceled, so we need something to fill the void.

b, i think a jenny mccarthy bob would look hot! i was going to go for the razored long bob a la gwyneth paltrow myself, but chickened out.

I love bobs. I am just growing mine out right now. I don't know why, because I really like that style. Go for it. Is your hair long right now? I really like shorter, styled hair. I am so sick of seeing long, stringy hair on all the actresses and celebs. I love it when someone has an actual style.

oh man, i totally lost touch with GG this season. it's much easier for me when they put the box sets out. i saw like the first 4 episodes i think...

and MAD MEN, i keep hearing great things about it. another one i need to catch!

so, i'm just reading an old nymag review of a gg episode and this made me lol and lol

Okay, the whole "We have to get Serena in the shower! Keep her awake!" thing would be appropriate if they were all freshman in college and this was the first time they've seen a friend black out, but Chuck, Nate, and Blair are (a) huge alcoholics already and (b) have seen what a sloppy ho Serena is.

My hair is abourt 3 in below my shoulders now. It doesn't scare or iimidate me to cut it and jenny and I hjave the same hbair color and texture just need a little reassurance from my girls!

I love GG. The funny thing is that I had to get my teens to watch it. I got hooked on it first and then I forced them to watch with me. Now, even my husband is into it. I don't think I am ever going to grow up completely.:nuts:

You will love it. I always figure that it is only hair and it will grow back if you do not like it. I can't imagine that you won't, though.

I have a couple of friends that are so stuck in the past and they will never change their style. They have had long hair forever and it's like their security blanket. It makes me nuts. I wish they would do something different, because it's always good to change it up every now and again.

read this one! chris and jessica defend gossip girl's honor against some blowhard knocking it in the observer. who reads that anyway? it had me stifling a full fledged laughing fit in my cubicle, which only resulted in highly audible snorts.

I think I am just gonna do it! It's hair and will grow back plus I had a bob this time last year and loved it! I am so over long hair since my thiroid was removed and my hair is totally wimpy now

spacey- it's so hard to grow out, because since it's a bob, it's angular...and when it starts getting choppy i have this weird OCD click that it needs to be straightened along the bottom...which causes me to cut it, which in turn makes it short...god damn, it's like the angry bob cycle...guess that's why they make extensions. LOL

i just want long messy rock start hair! (like my avatar!)

BL, I think you would look fabulous with a bob like Jenny's! You have such great bone structure and it would totally spotlight it! Go for it!!

Roro, we used to be HUGE fans of Nip/Tuck. We watched up until the season when the Carver's identity was revealed and then for some reason quit watching. We did the same with the Sopranos for some reason. Both were completely addictive!

How exhausting would it be to be a socialite? Ugh. I can't imagine. Speaking of exhausted, I'm off to bed. Nightie-night, all!
