ohhhhnononono, i wasn't the one who sent her the blake (she's keeping that a mystery)...i just happened to send her a link to a good deal on the bay (roro did too). ;)

i am so excited that it's the weekend but i am so tired...i just want to sleep! the holidays really wore me out!

oh and we got bad news at work today...one of my co-workers (my favorite!) had a massive stroke on NYE :sad: she is recovering, still in ICU, but the doctors said her progress is already better than they thought it would be. it's SO sad. she is one of the sweetest people in the whole world. she was overweight and i guess she had a minor stroke a couple years ago, so she lost weight, walked everywhere, became very healthy...and now this :sad: her college-age son found her just a few minutes after she collapsed (she was in another part of the house and he heard her fall) so that is also good...those minutes are precious.

I'm so thankful she survived and it was a very big wake up call. we never know who means what to us sometimes until something like this happens.

Dawn, that is so scary. I am glad to hear that she is getting better. When I hear these stories, I vow to start exercising and eating a lot better. That is really terrible.

On another sad note, I just read that John Travolta's 16 year old son died. I cannot even imagine losing a child. It is really, really sad.

Ok, happier news.....When I saw that Stella on E-bay, I had to let Jun know. It was such a great deal. I was hoping she would see it before it was gone. It is a beauty! I love that bag.

I am so sorry about your friend Dawn. My mom had a stroke about 8 years ago and still isn't 100% but I am so grateful to have her...! I wish your friend the best and she is in my thoughts and prayers.
