haha! there you go. leverage. just give her time to cool off. you apologized. there are worse things you could've said. i'm sure she'll come around.sounds like you had a rough day. maybe you should break out the vino?
Yeah I totally could have said, "your unstable, recently divorced sister, who always pawns her kids off on me, wants to come drink and ruin my study time, thus ruining my eduacation, and ultimately ruin my life" I could have said that
Just got back from Borders and they are having one of their sales and I just got a bagillion books for NINETY PERCENT OFF. It was like my dork dream! I got all the classics for 89 cents!
congrats rach! that's awesome!!!!
i love bargain books!
lol barm, yes, you TOTALLY could have said something worse. it's really not that big of a deal...she's prob just embarrassed. i'd prob be pissed at first too (out of embarrassment) but i'd get over it fast.
yeah I know, Its just such an "OOOOPPPPPSSSS!!!!" I feel bad I really do, i guess Id be a little P'O'd My self. I just am such a people pleaser I have a hard time saying no. Guess I learned my lesson!!
Okay, first off, a moment of silence for the quality craftsmanship and hours of work I spent making that collector's edition peacock Stella
Next up, that truly stinks, Barmy. But like everyone's said, it could've been wayyyy worse. You didn't say anything derogatory about her as a person, and it's easily explained by the fact that you "wanted to see her but knew you should be studying instead." She'll get over it So sorry you're having a bad day, hon
And finally, Rachie, PLEASE tell me that sale is still going on tomorrow!!!! Books are my biggest weakness, probably above bags AND shoes, no joke!!
