So Dh is in vegas, right. His sister text me right now with hey can I come over, so we can drink for a little while? And i told her sure. I didnt really want her too because I had a full evening of studying planned.
Anyway I text dh with "your sister is coming over and all I wanted to do was study. Dangitt" but i accidently sent it to his sister and not DH.
Shes pissed. What do I do???

oh crap!! that stinks bb. now that's a sticky situation! yikes.... hopefully she'll understand. apologize for what you said... maybe insist that she come over? if you're up for the company. hopefully she'll know that you need to study too, so maybe she won't stay for too long. communications is always key.

:push: barm, that's tough. i'd just tell her that you were venting to your H because you're stressed, need to study, but didn't want to tell her no. that you didn't mean anything by it, you love her, and that you'll be honest about needing to study (or something like that) from now on?

I tried to call her and she hung up on me. I apologized and told her i was super stressed out and didnt mean to be a B!tch, but she wont come over. This is really the last thing I need. My worst nightmare, texting someone else the wrong thing

Awww...Barms...it's not that bad! It's not like you were like, "I hate your sis!" or something...

Just send a message saying something along the lines of..."Sorry SIL, I had planned on studying for *big test*, but I really wanted to see you too! Nothing personal!" And if you want to see her say, "Hope you're still planning on stopping by!" and if you think it's best to give it some time, say "Maybe once I'm done studying, we can hang out?"

i'd let her simmer down a little bit. maybe just text her a simple "i'm sorry, please call me when you're ready".

LOL thithi, i had that record ONCE. i bet you have had it. i just happened to have megs tell us! LOL

awww barm, she will cool off. i am very emotional and tend to get upset/angry fast and then once i cool down, i'm good. i'm sorry you're having a bad day :hugs:
