I have the PTTM Sasha with the paisley lining. It is a heavy bag but it is so beautiful, the leather is soft and its exquisitely made. The fact it is a messenger means the weight is not so much an issue.
I do like the PTTM Natasha as a smaller alternative but I really dislike the 2012/2013 logo lining. I preferred the 2010/11 ribbon lining.
Nothing can fall out of the bag - it has a zip and magnetic closures...

I am itching to get a hold of one of these beauties. This may not be the right place, but since you guys seem to be the Natasha Petal to the Metal queens, when people refer to some natashas that have the same color lining as the leather, is this what they mean:http://www.ebay.com/itm/181067844715?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649? I've been through this whole thread and several others, and I've not seen this lining, so I turn to you guys, :)


And to contribute, my mom called me four days ago from Waikiki to say that the MbMJ store there had the Natasha in cardamom, "navy," and "a medium gray" on sale for $229. She said later that they also had "a bigger version" (has to be the Sasha, but surprised that they would be in a MbMJ store), but she didn't look up the price.

Yes these are the newer ones. The original ones were made of lamb skin leather and has paisley or ribbon lining. The new ones are cow leather and have this lining.

Hi! I like the bag even tho I am not a big fan of cross body bags, I am a huge fan of MBMJ bags.. all I can tell you is: If you like it, go for it! Don't worry about what ppl think but how YOU feel about it in first place! The bag is super cute!

Ok, thanks! I'd only seen the paisly, the ribbon, and the big white writing linings. Someone has swooped this one up, but I'll keep my eyes open for these, now that I know they're legit (as long as they don't have the new textured birds, which I don't like nearly as much).

Just scored one of these beauties on ebay for $350! My first Marc Jacobs bag too! It's black with yellow gold hardware and I looooove it. I was going to do a reveal thread but according to forum regulations I have to wait five days and post 10 replies blah blah blah. So I figured I might as well post here.

It has the paisley lining on the inside so I believe it's made with lamsbkin leather? Maybe one of you experts can tell me.

The leather is so rich and swooshy and amazing! I plan to use it as both a bookbag (I'm in college) and as an every day bag. I kind of regretted dishing out the money for it at first (before this my most expensive was was about 70 dollars) but it is DEFINITELY worth it!

Now I'm eyeing those adurable zip-clutch wallets...I don't know how you guys control yourselves!

If any of you are interested there's currently an ebay listing for a Sasha in brown color with gold hardware.

Oh and nice to meet you all!

The paisley lining is actually the Sasha. From first season. You scored! This is the best leather. Yes it is lamb skin. I have his one,too, with matching wallet and key pouch. Congrats!

Yes that's what I meant! It's the petal to the metal sasha. It was so weird, the DAY I started looking for one a new listing appeared on ebay so of course I snatched it right up!

It's previously owned but I like the broken in look that it has at the moment.

It's on my watch list, :) Hopefully it will work out! Although the description says logo lining, scales on birds, and cow leather, so I'm going to contact them...I would be pretty upset if I got it and it had the scales on the birds/newer hardware.
