Do you think this bag is better for a younger woman? I was going to buy one for my older sister's 40th, thought it might be her style, but worried now that it is too "young". What do you think?

If it helps, I'm 40 and almost bought this bag at Nordstrom Rack yesterday. Ended up with an MJ Antonia I loved a bit more, but I wouldn't hesitate at all to wear it! I may even head back to NR to get it!

I recently came across the PTTM Natasha and fell in love! But it only seems to be available here in Sydney with the hammered gold hardware, and I'd prefer silver.

I've been doing lots of reading about the PTTM (including this entire thread) and was wondering how pale the pale gold really is. Somebody's selling a pale gold with lambskin on eBay and claims it looks silvery in a lot of lights. Is that true?

Otherwise, it seems my only option is the hammered silver hardware with cowskin. They didn't make the lambskin version with silver hardware, right?

Thanks for any advice you can give. (:

The lambskin PTTMs were only the very first run and they all have gold, non-hammered hardware. It is a true gold. There were some PTTM made with very pale, almost silvery hardware, but they were not lambskin. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that was my understanding from all the research I did prior to buying my lambskin PTTM sasha.

The original lambskin PTTM Natashas also did come in the pale-gold/silverish hardware. This combination wasn't as common as the regular gold hardware.

Thank you very much for the replies, xkilljoy and Eru.

Do you have any thoughts on what would be a reasonable price for a lambskin PTTM Natasha with the pale gold hardware? Do they go for more than the regular PTTMs because of their rarity?

Hi! I'm new to MBMJ, just received my Espresso PTTM Natasha today! I fell in love with this bag earlier this year but had only seen it in light colors, so I was thrilled to find the dark brown on eBay for a decent price. It is SO pretty and the perfect size! I just wanted to ask, how do these bags hold up over time? Does the leather need any special care? I usually condition and protect my bags with Apple products... are they safe on to use on this bag? Thanks!

What does the lining on your bag look like? And is the leather pebbled? These bags have been made in several ways. If your bag has "ribbon" lining, it's made of lambskin and is much more delicate.

Hi everyone! I just got my PTTM Natasha, first season, in newsprint from ebay! Love the pretty ribbon lining, love the bag. The lambskin is so soft!

I was wondering 2 things though... One, is there anything special I should do to protect it? I intend it to be my daily bag (I do not carry a lot of stuff in my bags so weight is not really an issue here) so I want to make sure I take care of it. Two, some of the gray color is a little faded (honestly it just gives it a really nice worn-in look), and I wanted to know what my options are if I decided to try to have it "brightened", or whatever the word is.

I have had my eye on this bag for years, and I am so happy to finally have one!

I'm the lucky owner of one of those "rarity" ;-)
I bought mine 4 years ago at the boutique in Paris
I'm wearing it nearly everyday and i'm still so in love with it that it is hard for me to buy another bag !
I wish you to find one and to enjoy it as much as I do :-)

I didn't realize this bag was an old style (this thread goes back to 2009???)!!

I found a black Natasha on BBOS Private Sale and thought it was really cute!! Plus, they're offering 30% off... It's used but I got it for $150 with tax so I'm so happy!!! I can't wait to receive it!!
:yahoo:

So I know this is an older post but I just recently discovered and am in LOVE with the PTTM Natasha. Does anyone here have one in black they would be willing to part with? eBay makes me nervous :(
