Ooooh! Beautiful!!

Would you mind sharing what you think of the three different leathers??? Thanks!!

Here is my take on the leathers...
The tumbled leather feels divine to the touch because I just love the pebbly feel of the leather. There is also little maintenance needed for this type of leather. With the tumbled leather, for some reason, the smell of the leather is pretty overpowering. I find the leather odor a bit annoying sometimes but hopefully, the strong odor will subside soon. Of all the bags, this bag is probably the most travel friendly because you can actually collapse it. In fact, when it arrived, the bag was actually folded flat. I had to do a double take because I didn't expect it to be flattened! The size of the mini tumbled bucket also seemed smaller or shorter in height at first but after doing a quick compare, it is actually the same size as the others. I think the slouch of the bag makes it look smaller in size.
As for the calf leather, it is the smoothest of all. There are some natural wrinkling along the creases of where the leather bends but I love the glow that the calf leather gives off. Maybe this is because I conditioned it with apple conditioner which I got from Amazon. I've only had the chance to use this calf leather bag and found that it doesn't require a lot of care. However, if you tend to carry a lot of stuff, you have to be careful about it swinging around when you bend down etc. I actually scratched the back somehow. The marks were less noticeable only after I reapplied the apple conditioner.
Finally, for the saffiano leather, it seems like it will not require any maintenance! The leather reminds me of the LV canvas material which to me appears to be indestructible. The leather is stiff and so, when you try cinch the top of the bag, it requires some pulling in order to secure the top of the bag. I really like the color contrast though..I love all three types of leather!
Hope this helps! I included some close up pictures as well. Please don't mind the bad pics though..thanks!

Had to copy this post to our Leathers thread! Thanks for all your insight.

I'm hoping this is the right thread to post this in. But has anyone noticed that everything in the color Royal is removed from the MG website? No leather, canvas or any style. hummm

Wasn't royal canvas a special color sold on NAP? Maybe they decided to discontinue and start a new LE in fall.

But you are right: also no royal leather bucket. As there are three new colors to come they possibly listed it out to keep the collection clear(er).

What I noticed is that all the canvas bags now only have the untreated leather options. The ones that are gone are blu, royal and red and those are all the same as the calf coated options. I did ask MG and they told me that all the canvas have the vegetable tanned leather. But comparing myself a canvas and calf coated in the same color, they sure are close. But I compared a veg tanned with canvas and they are so much different. It's so interesting.

I noticed that too! Such a shame because the royal is a beautiful color.

I got my Royal canvas mini bucket from Steven Alan so I'm not sure if it was just a special NAP color. Sad if it's discontinued. It is a great color.

I've been reading the posts but am deciding between the veg tanned and the coated calf....are they both equally thick? Durable? I'm not super gentle on my bags and live in rainy weather most of the year....I'm just trying to decide. Sounds like the veg tan wears but that's part of the charm? Or I'll just choose between the color I like best but the price makes such a difference too. Help help!

Hi MG experts! Can you please tell me if MG has a combo of brandy with a navy interior or did they just do the brandy with Avion which, (I think…as I haven't seen in person) is a more greyish shade of blue? I wanted to ask the quick question of whether this combo even exists before I take time to ask for and post pics for the authenticate this folks. I just need to know if brandy has only had the avion blue or if they do a version with a darker blue. Thanks SO much
